Froyo Scene in San Dimas, California

The Parlor, San Dimas

Fro-yo girl here. San Dimas is a smaller city in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, about 30 miles northeast of downtown LA. The population was 33,535 in 2022. It’s known for Raging Waters and for being the home of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Bill and Ted attended San Dimas High School.

There are currently two froyo shops in San Dimas, The Parlor and Yogurtland. Both opened in 2014. Nick the Greek, the Greek fast casual chain, offers Greek froyo. The first froyo shop in San Dimas was likely Yogurt Station, which closed in 2014.

Current Places To Get Froyo

  • Nick The Greek, 1045 W Arrow Hwy, opened in 2023. The fast casual Greek chain offers Greek froyo.
  • The Parlor, 1453 W Arrow Hwy, opened in 2014, serving crepes and counter-serve froyo.
  • Yogurtland, 468 N Lone Hill Ave, opened in 2014 in a strip mall.

Former Places To Get Froyo

  • Costco, 520 N Lone Hill Ave, used to serve froyo, but they switched to soft serve ice cream.
  • Yogurt Station, 618 W Arrow Hwy, was the old school froyo shop. I’m not sure when it opened, but it closed in 2014. Many reviewers mention going there since childhood.
  • Yogurtland Express, 111 Raging Waters Dr, opened at Raging Waters in 2016. The Express location was not self-serve. It may have closed in 2019.

Like many of the smaller suburban cities, San Dimas is not the place to get innovative frozen yogurt, but it does have some good options. It’s also encouraging to see two froyo shops that are ten years old and one that lasted for decades.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
