Fro-yo girl here. Did you know that May is National Strawberry Month? It’s the perfect time to release a new strawberry-themed froyo spoon. Menchie’s newest collectible spoon features Barry, Menchie’s Sweet Friend who looks like a strawberry. The red spoon says “the berry best!”. Barry is holding a cup of froyo on the end and the bowl of the spoon features a strawberry. On the back of the spoon, you can see the back side of Barry holding a cup of froyo.
So cute. The spoons were going fast. Menchie’s in Valley Village went through one box of spoons in a few hours.

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s first new spoon of the year continues a tradition of introducing a spring-themed froyo spoon. The new spoon is bright yellow and features Menchie’s friend, PB, holding a cup of Menchie’s froyo in one hand and a spoon in the other. The amount of detail makes the spoon super cute. You can see that PB is holding a Menchie’s spoon and the cup of froyo has Menchie’s face on it. The froyo is covered in sprinkles. The spoon says “Spring Vibes!” on the handle. On the back, you can see the back of PB. The spoon feels nice and heavy.
Menchie’s is featuring two flavors this month: Cotton Candy froyo and Vegan Blueberry Lemonade sorbet. Both are returning flavors.
Menchie’s Smile Challenge app game is back. To play the game, download the Menchie’s app and scan the app every time you visit Menchie’s. The goal is to fill out the game board by doing what’s in each square – e.g., visit on a Monday. When you complete the game, you’ll get a $5 reward and be entered to win prizes, like free froyo for a year. Twelve winners will be selected. The game ends on March 31.

Fro-yo girl here. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Yogurtland. White chocolate peppermint froyo is back and there’s a new holiday cup and holiday spoon. The cup is a berry color and features the Yogurtland logo on a froyo cup, Christmas trees, snowflakes, candy canes, lollipops, and blue stars. The spoon is a light blue snowman wearing a scarf and a top hat. The Yogurtland logo appears on the hat. On the back of the spoon it says Happy Holidays on the handle. Very cute.
I also found some new Yogurtland holiday-themed sticker sheets. The stickers include a penguin holding a froyo cup, a snowman holding a froyo cup, a stocking, Christmas tree, froyo spoon, etc. The stickers are free, so be sure to look for them (you might have to ask for them).
And there’s a new holiday topping, Cap’n Crunch’s Christmas Crunch, featuring red and green holiday shapes like Christmas trees, stars, snowmen, and stocking caps.
The holiday cups, spoons, stickers, and toppings are available for a limited time only.

Fro-yo girl here. Happy birthday, Menchie’s! Menchie’s is celebrating their 16th birthday this month. They’re celebrating with raffles, the app game, a new birthday cup, featured flavors, and A NEW SPOON.
The new spoon is teal and features Menchie and Chip. Chip is wearing a party hat. The spoon says Party! Birthday Bash! The back side shows the back side of Menchie and Chip.
The spoons are available while supplies last. They tend to go pretty quickly. It’s the third new Menchie spoon in 2023.

Fro-yo girl here. SweetFrog partnered with American Red Cross to promote water safety recently. The promotion included:
- SweetFrog American Red Cross water safety spoons. These were handed out on May 15, National Water Safety Day. The green spoons feature Scoop dressed as a lifeguard. The handle of the spoon says American Red Cross. The spoons are color-changing. They turn blue!
- Guests who donate to American Red Cross will receive SweetFrog coupons. SweetFrog will match the donations, up to $10,000. They’re accepting donations through August 15.
- As part of the American Red Cross June Swim Challenge, participants will receive Red Cross and sweetFrog branded merchandise
- Water safety nights hosted by SweetFrog at select locations
- Water safety at home activities on the SweetFrog website

The new magenta colored spoon features Menchie’s Sweet Friend, Mellow (he looks like a marshmallow creature) holding a cup of froyo. The froyo cup has Menchie’s face on it and the froyo is adorned with flowers. The spoon says “Spring for a treat!”I heard that stores didn’t get many of these spoons, so try to get yours soon. I asked the Yogurtland employee if the spoons were part of a promotion but she didn’t know. Anyway, the color is pretty…reminds me of their Lucky Irish Mint froyo flavor. Fro-yo girl here. I just picked up the first new froyo spoon of 2023! Menchie’s just introduced a new spring spoon! The Mookie Calci-yumm spoon reminds Menchie’s guests that Menchie’s froyo is a Good Source of Calcium!It’s a bright yellow spoon featuring Mookie flexing her impressive muscles. She’s strong because of the calcium in her diet. Or is it Calci-yumm? The spoon also features a lightning bolt in the bowl of the spoon. On the handle, it says Calci-YUMM! Turn the spoon over and you’ll see Mookie’s backside. It also says Menchie’s on the back of the handle. These are nice, detailed froyo spoons.The spoon is available for a limited time only. Get yours soon.In other Menchie’s news, the featured flavors of March are two returning favorites: Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cup frozen yogurt made with real Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cups® and Peppa Pig Cotton Candy frozen yogurt. Peanut Butter Cookie froyo: I was excited since I love peanut butter cookies. Menchie’s says, “This sweet NEW flavor is rich, creamy, and made with real peanut butter cookies! Swirl this froyo in your cup guilt free because it’s made with no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and no high-fructose corn syrup!” Peanut Butter Cookies froyo is lowfat. I didn’t see the cookie bits but I was able to compare Peanut Butter Cookies froyo with Menchie’s Creamy Peanut Butter froyo. Peanut Butter Cookies froyo is sweeter and the pb flavor isn’t as strong as Menchie’s Creamy Peanut Butter froyo. Both are good! Recommended toppings: peanut butter sauce, Nutter Butter, Butterfinger, peanuts, Peanut M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces. Love peanut butter!
Back in 2018, Menchie’s introduced Peanut butter cookie made with Nutter Butter cookie pieces froyo. This time there is no mention of Nutter Butter, so I guess it’s different.
Also, there’s a NEW SPOON. The collectible Mellow spoon is a light grey color. Mellow is holding a book. On the spoon handle, it says Hooked on Books & Froyo. On the back of the spoon, you can see Mellow’s backside. The spoon is available for a limited time only and same with the featured froyo flavors.
FYI, Harvest Pumpkin froyo is made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, and ginger.

Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland has a new spoon, a green Sour Patch Kids spoon, inspired by their new flavor, Watermelon Sorbet made with Sour Patch Kids flavor. A new spoon design! What a nice surprise after years of introducing new colors of their spoons but the same design (their logo or the giant spoon). The last Yogurtland spoon with a different design was introduced in September 2019, when there were two new spoons for the Abominable movie.
The spoon says Join Real Rewards on the back.

Fro-yo girl here. I’ve just added the new Menchie’s 15th birthday spoon to my froyo spoon collection. The new Menchie’s spoon is teal and features Menchie wearing a pointy party hat, holding five balloons in one hand and a big birthday cake in the other. Turn it over and you’ll see Menchie’s backside. It says “Let’s Celebrate” on the spoon handle.
The limited edition cup is blue and features Menchie with his Sweet Friends: Chip (wearing a Menchie hat), Mookie, Kiwi, PB, Mellow, Barry, and Sprinkle. They all seem to be partying.Be sure to save the date for a few upcoming events at Menchie’s- On July 15, the first 50 guests at 3 PM will get 5 ounces of froyo for free. This is a celebration of the release of Zombies 3 on Disney+.
- On July 23, Menchie’s 15th birthday event: All guests receive a Buy One Froyo, Get One Half-Off on 7/23 from 12pm – 2pm!

He’s riding a skateboard that says Chip on the bottom and has a chocolate chip design on top. The spoon says Spring for Froyo! on the handle and has more chocolate chips on the handle. Very cute.
The green color makes me think of St. Paddy’s Day and spring. The Chip Spring for Froyo! spoon is available while supplies last at participating Menchie’s locations.
Menchie’s also had a raffle. The prize was a $25 Menchie’s gift card and 3 new Chip spoons.
