New Dark Green Yogurtland Logo Spoons, Returning Flavors, Leap Day Promo

Fro-yo girl here. I spotted the new dark green Yogurtland logo spoons at Yogurtland Eagle Rock. They’re similar to the other Yogurtland logo spoons, i.e., the spoons with Y from the logo. It says Yogurtland on the handle of the spoon.

I also noticed the return of two seasonal exclusive flavors: Thai Tea froyo, Lucky Irish Mint froyo. The return of Lucky Irish Mint for St. Patrick’s Day makes sense. I’m not sure why Thai Tea is a seasonal flavor. The sign for the Mint Cookies and Cream Swirl is also back.

Thai Tea froyo was first introduced last March.

And to celebrate Leap Year, Yogurtland is offering triple points on Leap Day, February 29.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Save the Date: National Day of Joy at Yogurtland

Fro-yo girl here. Save the date, Wednesday, June 28, for the first National Day of Joy celebration at Yogurtland. Guests will get a free yellow giant Yogurtland spoon with a $10 minimum purchase, in-store only. This offer is good while supplies last. It’s the first time they’ve had a giant yellow Yogurtland spoon.

I hadn’t heard of the National Day of Joy before, but it’s a real thing. Comfort Keepers, a company that provides in-home care for seniors and other adults, created the National Day of Joy in 2019. The day celebrates finding joy in everyday moments. For some, getting a new giant spoon is a reason to rejoice.

New Yogurtland Summer Spoons

Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland new spoon alert! Yogurtland has new summer spoons. The spoons are dark yellow. A pair of sunglasses is at the end of the spoon handle and a Yogurtland logo can be seen in each lens. I have a feeling that these spoons are only available for a limited time.

Yogurtland also has a new summer flavor, Pineapple Mango sorbet. I haven’t found it yet but I’ll report back.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New Yogurtland Holiday Flavors, New Holiday Spoon & Cup & More

Fro-yo girl here. ‘Tis the season and Yogurtland is full of festive spirit. They’ve also been busy putting together a big holiday promotion that includes new froyo flavors, new froyo toppings, a new holiday cup, a new holiday spoon, and branded merchandise and accessories.

Let’s start with the new cup design, featuring gold stars on a background of red and burgundy, a cup of froyo, and the words Love, Hope, and Joy. Love, Hope & Joy were the inspiration for  the 2017 Yogurtland campaign and the words also appear on some of the new branded Yogurtland merchandise. The last new Yogurtland cup design was introduced in 2020 for the launch of the smoothie bowl.

The new holiday spoon is red and has a present on the end of the handle. On the back of the spoon, it says Join Real Rewards. It’s the third new Yogurtland spoon this year.

The two new froyo flavors are both inspired by holiday cookies.

Chocolate Peppermint Cookie: This new flavor reminded me of the old Yogurtland flavor, Chocolate Mint Cookies. I haven’t had Chocolate Mint Cookies in so long! And I used to like it a lot. Chocolate Peppermint Cookie was pretty chocolatey but I could also taste peppermint. I think I like Chocolate Mint Cookies froyo better. Recommended toppings: chocolate shell, chocolate chips, and whipped cream.

Snickerdoodle: The cinnamon wasn’t too strong; the mild flavor of cinnamon and buttery cookies was delicious. The texture was smooth and creamy. Recommended toppings: Biscoff cookie crumbs, mini Stroopwaffel cookies

There was also a White Elephant froyo flavor. The mystery flavor is described as: “Like the iconic White Elephant holiday gift exchange, this ever-changing and unexpected flavor is a fun and mysterious surprise.” The yogurt was red and creamy; it tasted like red velvet cupcake batter.

The new toppings included mini Stroopwaffel cookies and tree-shaped holiday gummies.

In other Yogurtland news, Yogurtland launched its first branded apparel and merchandise collection. The collection includes apparel for adults and kids, bibs, giant froyo spoons, mugs, tumblers, hats, totes, backpacks, pet accessories, and more. Proceeds from the sale of Yogurtland merchandise will be donated to Yogurtland Cares, Yogurtland's non-profit that supports organizations that assist women and children.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New Sour Patch Kids Yogurtland Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland has a new spoon, a green Sour Patch Kids spoon, inspired by their new flavor, Watermelon Sorbet made with Sour Patch Kids flavor. A new spoon design! What a nice surprise after years of introducing new colors of their spoons but the same design (their logo or the giant spoon). The last Yogurtland spoon with a different design was introduced in September 2019, when there were two new spoons for the Abominable movie.

The spoon says Join Real Rewards on the back.

Yogurtland Introduces New Orange Froyo Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. I spotted some new orange Yogurtland logo spoons on my Instagram feed recently and headed over the Yogurtland. The new orange spoons feature the Yogurtland logo at the top of the spoon. They look like the regular pink and green logo spoons, only different in color. I think there are five colors of this spoon design now: pink, green, raspberry, teal, and orange. The back says Yogurtland Franchising 2017. I found mine at the Yogurtland in Yorba Linda, CA.

This is the third new spoon of the year from Yogurtland.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New Yogurtland Smoothie Bowl Cups and Spoons

Fro-yo girl here. Not only did Yogurtland smoothie bowls this week, they also added some excitement and branding by coming out with a new cup design and new spoons.

The cups say “Introducing Our New Smoothie Bowl” on a dark berry background and include a picture of a smoothie bowl. The dark berry smoothie spoons match the cups (similar colors) and feature the Yogurtland logo on the end. The taglines, “Smoothie Goodness in Every Spoonful and “A New Way to Spoon” tie the new product to the new spoons.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Valentine’s Day at Yogurtland, Giant New Red Froyo Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland’s giant red froyo spoon, which was given out on Valentine’s Day with a minimum $10 purchase after 5 PM, was the first new collectible spoon of the year and new decade. It’s red, 12 inches long, biodegradable and it says Yogurtland on the handle. The giant red spoon joins the other giant Yogurtland spoons. The other colors are green, pink, platinum, and the hard to find orange spoon.

Each store received at least one case of spoons.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

First National Ice Cream Day Celebration at Yogurtland & A New Yogurtland Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. With more froyo shops serving soft serve ice cream these days, this year’s National Ice Cream Day was celebrated by a good number of froyo shops, including 16 Handles, Yogurt Mountain, Pinkberry, Oregon Frozen Yogurt, Yogurt Breeze, The Skinny Dip, Menchie’s (Victorville & Hesperia, CA), and Yogurtland.

This was the first National Ice Cream Day celebration at Yogurtland. All US Yogurtland locations participated by offering a BOGO free deal on Sunday, July 15 from 1 PM – 6 PM, handing out *NEW* Blue Flip Flop spoons, and offering five flavors of ice cream. The BOGO offer is valid for Yogurtland’s froyo and sorbet flavors as well.

The five ice cream flavors offered were:

  • Rich Chocolate Ice Cream
  • Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Malt Ball Ice Cream Made With Whoppers®
  • Butter Pecan Light Ice Cream
  • Oreo® Cookies and Crème Ice Cream

Since I’ve tried all those ice cream flavors, I was most looking forward to getting a new Yogurtland spoon. Mission accomplished. I filled my cups with froyo, of course.

Also, I’d like to commend Yogurtland Pasadena (Lake Ave.) for having all five flavors of ice cream and the blue flip flop spoons. They ran out of the EL Fudge cookie sandwiches that I liked, but I’m not surprised. Promotional toppings and flavors are available while supplies last.

By the way, National Ice Cream Month (July) and National Ice Cream Day (July 15) were signed into law by President Ronald Reagan on July 9, 1984, with Presidential Proclamation 5219.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
