Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s first new spoon of the year continues a tradition of introducing a spring-themed froyo spoon. The new spoon is bright yellow and features Menchie’s friend, PB, holding a cup of Menchie’s froyo in one hand and a spoon in the other. The amount of detail makes the spoon super cute. You can see that PB is holding a Menchie’s spoon and the cup of froyo has Menchie’s face on it. The froyo is covered in sprinkles. The spoon says “Spring Vibes!” on the handle. On the back, you can see the back of PB. The spoon feels nice and heavy.
Menchie’s is featuring two flavors this month: Cotton Candy froyo and Vegan Blueberry Lemonade sorbet. Both are returning flavors.
Menchie’s Smile Challenge app game is back. To play the game, download the Menchie’s app and scan the app every time you visit Menchie’s. The goal is to fill out the game board by doing what’s in each square – e.g., visit on a Monday. When you complete the game, you’ll get a $5 reward and be entered to win prizes, like free froyo for a year. Twelve winners will be selected. The game ends on March 31.

Fro-yo girl here. With Menchie’s Hello Sunshine Spring Party postponed until who knows when, I wasn’t sure what the status would be for the new spring spoons that they had planned to hand out at the party. But, I’ve been seeing the new yellow Sprinkle spoons on social media. I found some at Menchie’s Valley Village, CA, the first Menchie’s location.
The Spring Sprinkle spoon features Sprinkle holding a watering can on the front. The front of the spoon says “let it grow” and is adorned with flowers and the sun. On the back, you can see the back of Sprinkle and a pot with a flower growing out of it. The color is a cheerful yellow. Very cute!
The spoon is collectible and available for a limited time only. It’s the first new Menchie’s spoon of the year.

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures’ and RatPac-Dune Entertainment’s new live action movie, PAN, brings a new Peter Pan promotion to stores in September.
The PAN-inspired flavors are PAN’s Pixie Dusted Sugar Cookie (available throughout September), Blackbeard’s Neverland Chocolate (Sept. 1-10), Hook’s Jolly Roger Raspberry Tart (Sept. 11-20) and Tiger Lily’s Tropical Mango Sorbet (Sept. 21-30).
* PAN’s Pixie Dusted Sugar Cookie froyo is described as “a decadent flavor of white sugar cookie with a sprinkle of pixie dust.” This lowfat flavor is made with real cookies and tastes like a very sweet sugar cookie dough. It’s creamy but not as smooth (perhaps because of the cookies).
Recommended toppings: Nilla wafers, frosted animal cookies, white chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs
* Blackbeard’s Neverland Chocolate froyo is “a devilishly rich chocolate flavor.” It did have a strong chocolate flavor; it tasted like a fudgsicle.
Recommended toppings: anything chocolate, whipped cream
Four collectible PAN cups feature Peter Pan, Captain Blackbeard, Hook and Tiger Lily. The Menchie’s that I went to only had Hook cup.
The new blue sword wielding Menchie froyo spoon is available for a limited time only. Menchie looks like a pirate with a parrot perched on his right shoulder.

Fro-yo girl here. The newest Menchie's limited edition collectible froyo spoons have been ariving at Menchie's locations. The 2014 Menchie's holiday spoons are red and feature Menchie possibly sitting in a froyo cup that's wrapped with a big bow. The ribbon says "Unwrap the yumm!" The hole on top will make these easy to hang on a Christmas tree (they're definitely going on my tree).
They also have limited edition holiday green cups.
