New Froyo Spoons of 2022

 

Menchie's 15th birthday spoons

Fro-yo girl here. You know I love my froyo spoons. So, froyo spoon collectors out there, these were the new froyo spoons that were released in the US in 2022. I’ve noted the shop, spoon color, and theme.

New spoons:

• Menchie’s, green, Spring for Froyo! Chip with a skateboard
• Menchie’s, teal, 15th birthday, Let’s Celebrate spoon with Menchie wearing a party hat
• Menchie’s, grey, Mellow Hooked on Books
• sweetFrog, pink color-changing, Gabby’s Playhouse
• Yogurtland, green, Sour Patch Kids
• Yogurtland, giant turquoise spoon for National Spoon Day
• Yogurtland, red, wrapped Christmas present spoon

There were seven new froyo spoon designs, the same as in 2021. One of the new spoons was a giant spoon.

I noticed Moyo in Mexico introduced a new spoon for the new Minions movie.

National Spoon Day 2022 Promo at Yogurtland, New Giant Turquoise Spoons!

Fro-yo girl here. Happy National Spoon Day, October 7! More importantly, Yogurtland recognizes National Spoon Day! I believe this is the third such celebration at Yogurtland. In 2020, they gave out giant pink and green Yogurtland spoons. Last year, the giant spoon was raspberry in color. This year, the limited edition giant spoon is turquoise.

Today, Yogurtland customers get a free giant turquoise Yogurtland spoon with a a minimum $10 in-store transaction (while supplies last). Limit one spoon per transaction. Third party delivery and online orders are excluded.

The giant spoon says Yogurtland on the front of the spoon (on the handle) and nothing on the back. The spoon is 12 inches long.

I ran into some serious spoon collectors at Yogurtland this morning. Talking to them was heartwarming! Ten dollars is a lot of froyo and I saw a couple of groups trying to reach the $10 mark.

Interestingly, Pumpkin Pie froyo has run out in the area and the distributor doesn’t have any more.

I tried to learn more about National Spoon Day, including its origins, but I didn't find much. National Spoon Day is a mystery!

New Menchie’s Skateboarding Spring For Froyo! Chip Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s has introduced their first new collectible froyo spoon of 2022: Spring For Froyo! The spoon is green and features Chip holding a cup of froyo in one paw. He’s riding a skateboard that says Chip on the bottom and has a chocolate chip design on top. The spoon says Spring for Froyo! on the handle and has more chocolate chips on the handle. Very cute.

The green color makes me think of St. Paddy’s Day and spring. The Chip Spring for Froyo! spoon is available while supplies last at participating Menchie’s locations.

Menchie’s also had a raffle. The prize was a $25 Menchie’s gift card and 3 new Chip spoons.
