Fro-yo girl here. Another giant Yogurtland spoon is on the way. On December 9, Yogurtland is giving away free (with purchase) NEW holiday giant spoons. The spoons are hunter green and 12" inches long.

To claim your free giant spoon, visit Yogurtland and make a minimum $12 in-store purchase. There’s a maximum of 4 spoons per transaction, i.e., if you spend $48 and get 4 giant spoons.

The giant holiday spoons are available while supplies last. Some locations do “sell” out, so if you have your heart set on a spoon, get there early.

Fro-yo girl here. It hasn’t been announced yet, but Yogurtland is having a Mystery Giant Spoon Day on Saturday, November 18. You’ll get a free giant spoon with a minimum $10 in-store purchase. The mystery is that you won’t know which giant spoon you’ll be getting. It could be a rare spoon. Most of the giant spoons were handed out during one-day promotional events. Good luck, froyo spoon collectors.

New Yogurtland Spoon: Mint Green

Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland has new spoons! The first new spoons of 2023 are…their logo spoons in a new color, mint green. I asked the Yogurtland employee if the spoons were part of a promotion but she didn’t know. Anyway, the color is pretty…reminds me of their Lucky Irish Mint froyo flavor. I imagine we’re due for a new Yogurtland flavor in May. Could it be green?

Giant Purple Yogurtland Spoons & Fruit Bowl Fusions

Fro-yo girl here. I wasn’t going to try Yogurtland’s Fruit Bowl Fusions BUT they’re giving a free giant purple Yogurtland spoon with a fruit bowl fusion purchase this week (from July 5 – July 10, 2021). This is a NEW giant Yogurtland spoon. You get one giant purple spoon per transaction per guest when you order a fruit bowl fusion online or in-store.

Fruit Bowl Fusions are made with fresh fruit. Choose from Street Style (watermelon, mango, pineapple, lime dressing, Tajin, and chamoy) or Bionico (strawberries, blueberries, banana, sweet coconut milk, granola).

I tried the Street Style fruit bowl. The associate put the fruit in a mixing bowl, added chamoy, Tajin and lime juice and then tossed everything together. The flavors were sweet, slightly spicy, and tangy.

New Yogurtland Teal Froyo Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. And the first new froyo spoon of 2021 is the teal logo spoon from Yogurtland. I think it’s available for a limited time only. It looks like the Yogurtland pink and green logo spoons. I found mine at Yogurtland Pasadena, California. The back says Yogurtland Franchising 2017. Yogurtland Eagle Rock has the teal spoons as well.

Yogurtland’s 10th Anniversary Flavors, Spoon and Fundraiser

Fro-yo girl here. Happy anniversary, Yogurtland! Yogurtland is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year by giving back. Yogurtland Cares, which is Yogurtland’s charitable arm, announced that it would collect donations for local children’s hospitals. Every dollar raised will go directly to the hospitals and Yogurtland will also host yogurt parties for patients, their families and hospital staff. Last year they held a similar fundraiser for local children’s hospitals. Donations will be accepted at Yogurtland locations from September 9 - October 19.

To help celebrate their tenth anniversary, Yogurtland is also bringing back three of its most popular flavors: Birthday Cupcake Batter (Sept. 9), Pineapple Sorbet (Sept. 23), and Almond Midnight Mocha (Oct. 7). Birthday Cupcake Batter is in shops now. The flavor was created in honor of Yogurtland’s 6th anniversary/birthday back in 2012.

For Yogurtland’s fifth anniversary, they introduced their first purple spoon. For the tenth anniversary, there’s a new magenta spoon with the Yogurtland logo on the top of the handle. The spoon says Yogurtland 10th Anniversary.

“Some of the hospitals benefiting from the Yogurtland fundraiser include Rady Children’s Hospital (San Diego, Calif.), Children’s Hospital of Orange County (Orange, Calif.), Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Cottage Children’s Hospital (Santa Barbara, Calif.), Lauren Small Children’s Medical Center (Bakersfield, Calif.), Valley Children’s Hospital (Fresno, Calif.) Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (Salinas, Calif.), UC Davis Children’s Hospital (Sacramento, Calif.), UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital (San Francisco), St. Rose Dominican Hospital (Henderson, Nev.), Phoenix Children’s Hospital (Phoenix, AZ), Children’s Hospital Colorado (Denver, Colo.), Seattle Children’s Hospital (Seattle, Wash.), Primary Children’s Hospital (Salt Lake City, Utah), Children’s Medical Center of Dallas (Dallas, TX) and Miami Children’s Hospital (Miami, FL).”

Yogurtland & Candy Crush Present Sweet Treats

Fro-yo girl here. The new Yogurtland & Candy Crush “Sweet Treats” campaign just launched today and the summer just became much sweeter.

First up, the two new flavors are Maple Donut froyo and Orange Fizz sorbet.

Maple Donut: “We took the warm, doughy magic of a maple donut and one-upped it, transforming this classic indulgent flavor into froyo form.” A warm, sweet maple flavor; I didn’t sense too much of the donut but it did taste like maple frosting. It tastes better than donuts because it isn’t as sweet.

Recommended toppings: Frosted donuts, almonds, chocolate chips, whipped cream

Orange Fizz Sorbet: “Swap your straw for a spoon and dip into a delicious Orange Fizz Sorbet. Made with real oranges and packed with vitamin C for Sugar Crush flavor.” Sweet and summery, it tastes like orange soda but not as sweet - the fizz is there but it’s not overpowering.

Recommended toppings: Condensed milk, yogurt chips, mochi, blue raspberry candy bears

The Candy Crush inspired toppings are: Chocolate Wafer Wharfs (wafer roll cookies), Sugary Squirms (sour gummy worms), Blue Raspberry Candy Bears (gummy bears) and Frosted Donuts.

The new collectible limited edition spoon is orange. It says Sodalicious on it and is topped with an orange soda bottle.

The new cup design is pink and has images from Candy Crush like a big blue raspberry candy bear, a donut dragon and a girl probably on Lemonade Lake.

Visit YogurtlandSweetTreats.com for your chance to win free yogurt for a year or an unlimited cup of froyo.

Check out the Pinterest board, Yogurtland Candy Crush, for #YogurtlandSweetTreats pictures

The next new flavors, Blue Raspberry Sorbet and Chocotastic Sorbet, arrive on July 20.

The Great Spoon Trade!

Fro-yo girl here. Do you love froyo spoons? Do you collect froyo spoons? You know that I answered yes to both questions. I’m looking to trade some of my current froyo spoons in order to obtain froyo spoons that aren’t currently part of my collection.

I am looking for the following froyo spoons:

* Early Yogurtland spoons - light pink and light green clear spoons with old Yogurtland logo that were available around 2007
* Fru:yo Factory elephant head spoons from Hong Kong

* Yogen Fruz blue spoons with cut out smile/U shape

If you think you have some nice froyo spoons that I haven’t mentioned but might be interested in, let me know.

Let me know which spoons you are looking for and we can go from there.

For more information, check out my IFYA classified ad. You can buy, sell or trade froyo items using IFYA's free classified ads. Any registered IFYA member can create an ad and membership is free.

My Frozen Yogurt Spoon Collection

Fro-yo girl here. I received a request to reveal my frozen yogurt spoon collection. I didn’t include all the plain Yogurtland pink and green spoons I have and I misplaced my Berry Chill spoons (I know I didn’t lose them). I'm so happy I saved my sno:la wooden spoon.

Fro-yo Spoon Poll Results

Fro-yo girl here. These past few weeks have been a busy time for fro-yo spoon collectors, thanks to the four Sanrio spoon designs released by fro-yo spoon innovator, Yogurtland. I remember when I first saw the Yogurtland branded spoons. It was love at first sight back in 2009.

I wondered how many others saved and admired fro-yo spoons. The poll results are in and 68% of voters also save cute fro-yo spoons! Yay! That’s more than I expected. Many of my recent fro-yo purchases have been driven by the desire to collect fro-yo spoons.

Menchie’s just came out with limited edition Chip spoons this week. I have to have one of course.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Bad Badtz-Maru Yogurtland Spoons, My Yogurtland Sanrio Part 2 Spoon Collection is Complete

Fro-yo girl here. The fourth and final Yogurtland Sanrio spoon (black Bad Badtz-Maru) and cup design (Honolulu) arrived in Yogurtland stores yesterday.Take a look at all four spoons. I find the back of the spoon as cute as the front...those little tails. I also have all four cup designs: Hollywood, Miami, San Francisco and Honolulu.

I tried Bad Badtz-Maru’s favorite flavor, Mango Pina Colada. I could taste the mango, pineapple and coconut. The coconut tasted the strongest but I think that’s because I don’t like coconut (sorry BBM). Bad Badtz-Maru was in Honolulu at the Yogurtland launch party yesterday, enjoying a cup of fro-yo. I’m sad I didn’t get a chance to meet him. I’ve always liked his rebellious attitude. I wonder if he’s friends with Kuromi?

Little Twin Stars Yogurtland Launch Party

Fro-yo girl here. The new Little Twin Stars purple spoons arrived at Yogurtland locations today, along with the San Francisco themed fro-yo cups. Yogurtland also hosted a launch event in San Jose from 11 AM - 2 PM today. Guests who arrived early received pink and green Yogurtland Sanrio tote bags, buttons, keychains, Little Twin Stars spoons, SF froyo cups, Hello Kitty visors, and the grey Yogurtland Sanrio t-shirts from the previous YL-Sanrio promotion (with Hello Kitty, My Melody, Keroppi & Chococat). They were also treated to free fro-yo. There was a lot of swag (!) plus a DJ, Hello Kitty photo opps and more. The store was filled with pink and green balloons.

My fro-yo breakfast consisted of the Little Twin Stars favorite flavor, raspberry tart, and their favorite topping, giant fresh raspberries with sliced almonds and Yogurtland sprinkles for crunch. Kiki and Lala have excellent taste in fro-yo!

I was thrilled to go behind the counter and see the back area where the fruit is chopped and the toppings are kept. I learned that we might be seeing a new Yogurtland tagline soon. Their first non-dairy offering, Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet, was a hit, so expect to see more non-dairy options in the future.

I LOVE my new spoons and cup. Remember to collect all four spoon designs to earn a special treat on September 2. Thanks Yogurtland!

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

TuxedoSam Yogurtland Spoons

Fro-yo girl here. The new TuxedoSam fro-yo spoons and Miami cups arrived on 7/24 at participating Yogurtland locations. Yay! Here’s a picture of my spoon. I was inspired by TuxedoSam to select Frosty Vanilla froyo (which I think is Madagascar Vanilla renamed) and snow caps. I also selected salted caramel pecan fro-yo, mochi, crushed Butterfingers, toffee and a Nutter Butter cookie.

Yogurtland also mentioned there would be a special prize for those who collect all four spoon designs, so save your spoons.Of course I’m wondering what the prize will be...I’m hoping for a special fro-yo spoon. Kuromi? A coupon for free fro-yo would be welcome too.

The TuxedoSam spoons will be available for two weeks (or while supplies last).

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Fro-yo Spoons...as Door Handles

Fro-yo girl here. I was back at Yogurtland for Yogurtland Sanrio spoons (My Melody and Keroppi). Their new Capitola location has giant Yogurtland spoons as door handles! There's a green one and a pink one and the spoons say Yogurtland on them...they're giant versions of their fro-yo spoons. I wish I could get some for my home. I'd love to swap out my boring door knob with a Yogurtland spoon.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

More Yogurtland Sanrio Spoons

Fro-yo girl here. The Keroppi and My Melody spoons arrived at Yogurtland last on August 11...at the time I was in a state without any Yogurtland locations (sad). My collection is complete now. I need to decide whether the front of the spoon (with the face) or the back (with the tail - except for Keroppi, he doesn't have a tail) and name is cuter. Hard to decide! I also don't know which spoon is my favorite.

I created a truly world changing fro-yo combination with Chocolate Mint Cookies fro-yo, Double Cookies n' Cream fro-yo, three Kit Kat mix (white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate), crushed Butterfingers and mini Reeses PB cups. Wow. The crunch from the candy and the tiny cookie bits in the fro-yo are just such a perfect combination.

Remember to enter the Yogurtland Sanrio Friends Forever sweepstakes. I hate to say and think this but the Yogurtland Sanrio promotion ends in two weeks (too soon).

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland's 5 Year Anniversary Limited Edition Purple Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. Happy belated anniversary wishes to Yogurtland (5 years old!) I like how they celebrated with customers with their fan pass (redeemable for 2 oz. of free fro-yo from April 15 - 19) and they even brought out the limited edition purple spoon.
This is weird...there are even t-shirts available from CafePress.com that say "I got a purple spoon from Yogurtland...awesome!"

Here's a picture of my purple spoon! I'm so happy to have it in my fro-yo spoon collection.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland Spoons

Fro-yo girl here. Happy Thanksgiving to all fro-yo fans and fro-yo people! As we prepare to spend the day with friends and family (and hopefully fro-yo will be part of your day), I'm contemplating Yogurtland fro-yo spoons. On a recent trip to Yogurtland, I immediately noticed that the spoon felt different. I took the spoon home to compare it to my other Yogurtland spoons.

The new spoon is darker pink and it feels thinner. The logo is more shallow and the edges aren't as smooth. It has the same biodegradable logo as before. The old spoon had a better feel.

When I attended the 50th anniversary of Sanrio event in Santa Monica, they gave me one of the older spoons.

I have a spoon that's even older with the old Yogurtland logo. I wish I had more of the first generation Yogurtland spoons but I have a couple in pink and in green. Of course I still have my Yogurtland Tokidoki spoons - those are the cutest fro-yo spoons in my collection.

You know you love me. XO XO, fro-yo girl.
