Available flavors: Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter, Honey Pretzel Peanut, Coconut Almond Chocolate, Maple Ginger, Honey Cranberry Almond.
* Honey Pretzel Peanut: The honey yogurt was thick, smooth, and creamy. The honey flavor is very prominent, to the point that it overwhelmed the flavor of Guittard chocolate bits. I could taste the peanuts and pretzels. It felt like there weren’t enough toppings. The toppings were good and complemented the yogurt but I wasn’t wowed. I did like the yogurt.
* Maple Ginger: This featured maple yogurt with crunchy granola, gingersnap streusel and candied ginger. The maple yogurt tasted quite similar to the honey yogurt but with a hint of maple. The granola was in small clusters. One serving was 240 calories, 9g fat, 32g carbohydrates, 24g sugars and 8g protein.
I like Noosa and while there was nothing wrong with Noosa Mates, I found the combinations predictable and safe. I think the toppings should be more interesting and that there should be a wider base of yogurt flavors.
4 out of 5 stars.
