New May Flavors & Toppings at Menchie’s
Fro-yo girl here. It’s feeling like springtime at Menchie’s with the cute new Mookie lavender colored spoons, two brand new flavors, and a new topping.
Nerds Rainbow Candy sorbet: This new flavor was inspired by Nerds Gummy Clusters candy. I’ve never had Nerds gummy clusters, but I have had Nerds. The sorbet is a bright pinkish red hue, and it tastes like fruit punch. I wasn’t a fan, but I can imagine that kids would like it. Nerds Rainbow Candy sorbet is nonfat, gluten-free, and made with no high fructose corn syrup. Recommended toppings: Nerds gummy clusters
Peaches N Cream froyo: The new Peaches N Cream froyo is made with real peaches. The peach flavor was nice, and the froyo was smooth and creamy. The cream muted the peach flavor. It was good, mild enough to go with lots of froyo flavors and toppings. Recommended toppings: granola, almonds, and mango. Peaches N Cream froyo is lowfat, gluten-free, and contains no artificial colors, artificial flavors, or high fructose corn syrup.
The new topping, Nerds Gummy Clusters, is obviously the perfect topping for Nerds Rainbow Candy sorbet.
The new flavors are available for a limited time, while supplies last.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland Gets Festive
Fro-yo girl here. The holidays have arrived at Yogurtland in a big way. First, there’s a new flavor, Peppermint Fudge Brownie, frozen yogurt. It’s described as “a rich, fudgy brownie flavor that meets refreshing peppermint for a winter wonderland in every bite.” I think that’s accurate. It is rich and more fudgy than minty. I could taste the mint though.
To pair with the new froyo, there’s a new topping, mini gingerbread men cookies. The cookies are thick and crunchy. They’re dusted in sanding sugar.
There’s a new holiday cup design that features three different gingerbread men, the Yogurtland logo, and a green background of snowflakes, candy canes, hearts, peppermint candies, and gingerbread cookies.
The new gingerbread man spoon is gingerbread colored. On the back of the spoon, it says Happy Holidays.
The new holiday sticker sheets feature gingerbread men, a Christmas tree, candy cane, peppermint candies, a Yogurtland spoon, gingerbread cookie, and Yogurtland logo. The images look similar to the ones on the holiday cup.
Everything is available for a limited time only, while supplies last.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland’s Fall Flavors, Toppings, Stickers & Promos
Fro-yo girl here. It’s early August and I just had some Pumpkin Pie froyo at Yogurtland. Pumpkin pie froyo is back and it’s one of Yogurtland’s fall froyo flavors. The fall flavors are Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Swirl (Pumpkin Pie + Cheesecake), Salted Caramel froyo (returning favorite), and S’mores froyo.
Yogurtland calls S’mores froyo brand new but I remember having it in 2014 (and I have photographic evidence) during the Outdoor Adventure promo. They even had a S’mores mix topping. Back in 2014, I wrote, “S’mores frozen yogurt “combines toasted marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers.” It’s a mellow, creamy flavor that tastes like milk chocolate marshmallows.” Maybe they changed the flavor but I tried it again and it still tasted like a creamy, mild chocolate marshmallow. I couldn’t taste the graham crackers. Recommended toppings: Golden Grahams, chocolate chips, whipped cream. The seasonal flavors are available for a limited time, while supplies last.
There was a new seasonal topping, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bites. The bites were chewy and tasted a bit like chocolate cookies. They were somewhat bland and not as creamy as I expected.
I found the new Fall YL sticker sheets. The stickers include pumpkins, a campfire, froyo cup, froyo spoon, a school bus, backpack, crayons, a gummy bear, and Yogurtland logo. The sticker sheets are free.
Save the date for two promotions. On August 20, guests who buy a cup of s’mores froyo online get one free of equal or lesser value. The offer is an online exclusive for purchases made on the Yogurtland website or app. Use code SMORES24 at checkout. For National Dog Day on August 26, guests who make a minimum $15 in-store purchase at participating locations will receive one free dog bandana. The offer is not valid with any other offer or promotion and excludes catering, third party delivery, gift cards, and online orders.

New Summer Pac-Man Flavors at Yogurtland, Pac-Man Cups, and New Toppings
Fro-yo girl here. It’s summertime at Yogurtland and they just launched a new promotion with the iconic video game brand PAC-MAN from Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc.
Let’s start with the limited-edition flavors inspired by PAC-MAN.
CHERRY Chomp Sorbet is “inspired by PAC-MAN's unstoppable munching, this refreshing sorbet offers a burst of citrus that complements the sweetness of cherries.” The nonfat flavor is gluten-free and made with real cherries. It was smooth, sweet but not tangy, and refreshing. The cherry flavor was prominent. The citrus burst tasted like lime. It reminded me of Cherry ICEEs but hopefully with a lot less food color. Recommended toppings: fresh berries, mochi.
Pineapple POWER-UP Sorbet is described as “the perfect PAC-MAN POWER-UP for a hot summer day, with its vibrant fusion of sweet mango and tart pineapple.” This is a returning flavor. It was introduced last summer under the name of Pineapple Mango sorbet. I could taste the pineapple and the mango. The mango makes is sweeter. It wasn’t tangy. Recommended toppings: popping boba, PAC-MAN gummies
I already told you about the new PAC-MAN, blue ghost, and red ghost spoons. But I didn’t know that the ghosts had names. The red ghost is Blinky and the blue ghost is Inky.
I spotted one of the two limited edition PAC-MAN cup designs. The black cup features a maze, four ghosts, and PAC-MAN eating a cup of Yogurtland froyo. The other cup design shows PAC-MAN eating a cherry.
The new PAC-MAN gummies are pineapple-flavored. They’re pretty firm and chewy. I also spotted gummy cherries.
There’s a new exclusive online treat called the Waka Waka Cup which features Pineapple POWER-UP sorbet topped with gummy PAC-MAN, gummy cherries, and mango popping boba. You can only get it by ordering it online from yogurtland.com or the Yogurtland app.
Also, look for Yogurtland x PAC-MAN sticker sheets. And you can purchase limited edition Yogurtland x PAC-MAN t-shirts and caps from Yogurtland’s merchandise site.

New Yogurtland Spring Toppings: Strawberry Heart Jelly & Lychee Star Jelly
Fro-yo girl here. I tried Yogurtland’s new spring flavors last week, Strawberry Matcha and Milk & Honey. But the new spring toppings weren’t available at the time of my visit. Well, I found the new toppings at Yogurtland in Tustin, CA.
Lychee Star Jellies are pale white and star-shaped. Strawberry Heart Jellies are small red heart-shaped jellies. I tried the Strawberry Heart Jellies and they tasted a bit like lychee. Anyway, they’re firm in texture. I found the flavor to be artificial. But the jellies are cute.

Yogurtland New Cereal Flavors & New Cereal Toppings
Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland just came out with their back-to-school promotion, with two breakfast-inspired froyo flavors, Cinnamon Churro Cereal and Peanut Butter Cocoa Cereal, and two new toppings, Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites and S’mores. The new flavors and toppings should be in stores around August 7.
Cinnamon Churro Cereal froyo is made with real cinnamon. It’s described as, “This delicious treat captures the sweet cinnamon flavor of the beloved morning cereal.” The cinnamon flavor seemed stronger than Yogurtland’s Churro froyo. It was also icy. I prefer their Churro flavor.Peanut Butter Cocoa Cereal froyo is made with real peanut butter and cocoa. It’s described as, “A throwback to the classic cereal with peanut butter and chocolatey goodness.” The flavor is lowfat. It’s also flavored with corn, caramel, and vanilla wafer cookies. I love peanut butter and I like some peanut butter cocoa cereal but I found Peanut Butter Cocoa Cereal froyo to taste strange. I couldn’t even finish the sample. It was terrible – too much corn? Too much caramel? Hated it.
The S’mores topping looked like mini marshmallows, cinnamon graham crackers and chocolate cereal. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites looked like the Cookie Crisp cereal.
Also in August, Real Reward members can earn double points on in-store and online purchases every Tuesday.

Online Exclusive Yogurtland Cup, New Topping: Ocean Themed Gummies, National Ice Cream Day Special
Fro-yo girl here. There’s so much going on at froyo shops right now. A week ago, I was at Yogurtland trying the new summer flavor, Watermelon Lemonade sorbet. During my visit, they didn’t have the new topping yet. The new topping is ocean themed gummies. They’re big and come in several shapes: seahorse (pineapple), turtle (apple), crab (strawberry), octopus (orange), shark (blueberry), and dolphin (raspberry). The Herbert’s Best candies are fruit flavored.
The gummies must be popular because they ran out of them at the Yogurtland that I visited.
The online exclusive cup is called Beach Buddies and it features Rocket Pop Sorbet, mochi, mango popping boba, and ocean-themed gummies.
Also, on National Ice Cream Day, July 16, Real Rewards members will earn double points on their in-store or online purchases. The offer does not apply to third-party delivery orders or gift card purchases.

New Online Exclusive Yogurtland Cup and a New Topping
new brown sugar mini mochi
And yes, the brown sugar mini mochi are a new topping. They’re smaller than the regular mochi (glutinous rice cakes) and they taste like brown sugar. They’re chewy and firm.
You can also create the Mochi Mochi Tea cup at Yogurtland this month.

New Flavor at Yogurtland: Strawberries ‘N Cream & A New Topping
Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland’s first new flavor of 2023 was Lemon Sorbet but their first new frozen yogurt flavor of 2023 is…Strawberries ‘N Cream. Yogurtland describes Strawberries ‘N Cream froyo as “a classic dessert combination with the flavors of juicy strawberries with a decadent creamy finish.” Strawberries ‘N Cream froyo is gluten-free, nonfat, and made with real strawberries. It also contains cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk.
Strawberries ‘N Cream froyo: I tried this new flavor and Yogurtland’s Fresh Strawberry froyo side by side. The flavors are quite similar. SNC was a little darker in color and slightly less creamy; it also had a more pronounced strawberry flavor but there was something about that flavor that seemed less natural than Fresh Strawberry. The two flavors are quite similar but I prefer Fresh Strawberry. Recommended toppings: strawberries, whipped cream, Hello Panda strawberry cookies, mochi, and lemon pound cake bites.
Thumbs up for the cute new topping that pairs with SNC froyo: Meiji Hello Panda strawberry cookies. They’re cute and crispy on the outside and filled with pink strawberry cream.
Strawberries ‘N Cream froyo is available for a limited time at participating Yogurtland locations, while supplies last.

First New Yogurtland Flavor of 2023, Lemon Sorbet & A New Topping
Fro-yo girl here. And the first new Yogurtland flavor of 2023 is…Lemon Sorbet. Lemon sorbet is vegan, non-fat, gluten-free, and Vitamin C fortified. It’s made with real Meyer lemons. Yogurtland describes it as, “Enjoy this classic, refreshing sorbet with sweet and sour lemon notes.” The description was accurate…I could taste Meyer Lemon. There was some tang but it was more sweet than tangy. Since it’s sorbet, the texture was smooth and icy. As a lemon lover, I definitely wanted a lot more tang. Or I’d mix it with Plain Tart. The color was also very yellow (too yellow).
Also, they have a new topping that complements the Lemon Sorbet. The sign wasn’t up yet but it looks like iced lemon pound cake! Yum!
Yogurtland has been starting the last few years with a vegan flavor, in honor of Veganuary (January).

Fall at Yogurtland: Return of Pumpkin Pie & Caramel Apple Froyo, New Fall Topping
Fro-yo girl here. It feels like fall has arrived at Yogurtland. The new signs have a distinctly fall feel and fall flavors are back. Yogurtland brought back Pumpkin Pie froyo (early) and they’re pairing it with Cheesecake froyo. The two flavors are being offered side-by-side with a sign that encourages guests to swirl them together, using the middle handle, to create Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake Swirl. The handles are even labeled pumpkin pie, pumpkin pie + cheesecake swirl and cheesecake. Recommended toppings: cheesecake bites, whipped cream, maple cream cookies, almonds.
Caramel Apple froyo is also returning. The flavor was first introduced in 2016 as part of the Trolls promotion. Cooper’s Caramel Apple is now called Caramel Apple. Yogurtland describes it as, “With the sweetness of REAL caramel blended with REAL apples, it’s like eating a caramel apple in every bite.” I don’t like caramel but it did taste like caramel with a hint of apple.
There is also a new fall topping, Maple Cream Cookies. They’re soft, thick maple leaf shaped sandwich cookies filled with maple cream. The cookies and cream are made with 100% pure maple syrup. The maple flavor is subtle. I thought the cookies were very tasty and not crazy sweet.
Yogurtland is offering an online-exclusive Dirt Cup made with Dutch Chocolate Frozen Yogurt or Rich Chocolate Ice Cream and assorted toppings, available to order on yogurt-land.com and third party delivery platforms. All the promotional items are available for a limited time only, while supplies last.

New Yogurtland Flavor: Plant-Based Salted Chocolate Souffle
Salted Chocolate Souffle: It tasted like a lot of chocolate frozen yogurt, only with a hint of coconut. It was perhaps a little icier than dairy-based yogurt, but that might have been because of the location I went to rather than the yogurt itself.
The new topping, Bear Naked’s White chocolate macadamia nut granola, was in big chunks with whole macadamia nuts. It had a hint of coconut and salt, so it paired well with the Salted Coconut Souffle froyo. With whole macadamia nuts, it's obviously a premium granola.

Here’s the official press release:

Yogurtland & Cheetos Santa Ana Event
Fro-yo girl here. Frito-Lay and Yogurtland have partnered to make Flamin’ Hot Cheetos a limited time froyo topping at Yogurtland locations across the country, starting December 2. They’re also hosting a special event at Main Place Mall in Santa Ana, CA. The event starts at 1 PM and ends at 4 PM. Chester Cheetah will make an appearance. Guests will have the opportunity to take photos with Chester, win branded merchandise, and enjoy Flamin’ Hot Cheetos with their froyo.
I wonder what froyo flavors would pair well with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Mango comes to mind because of mangonadas. Corn. Plain tart.
I'm hoping to get some giant orange Yogurtland spoons. Fingers crossed.

New at Yogurtland: Milk Chocolate Candy made with M&M’s Froyo, M&M’s Topping, Ultimate Creation, New Milkshake Flavor
Fro-yo girl here. I was happy to see that Pumpkin Pie froyo had returned to Yogurtland and they introduced a new froyo flavor and topping that complements Pumpkin Pie froyo.
Milk Chocolate Candy frozen yogurt made with M&M’s is described as, “We used real M&M’S® Candies in our smooth and creamy, sweet frozen yogurt for a rich milk chocolate flavor. It’s like tasting a million M&M’S® Candies in every bite.” And it did taste like Milk Chocolate M&Ms in froyo form. It wasn’t crazy sweet. Texture-wise, it was rich, smooth, and creamy. Yes, I’m biased because I like M&M’s. I paired this flavor with Pumpkin Pie froyo, White Pumpkin Pie M&Ms, whipped cream, and Teddy Grahams. It was the perfect combination.
The new topping is White Pumpkin Pie M&Ms. They’re big M&M’s and they have pumpkin pie spice. They’re actually tasty but on the waxy/chewy side.
I was also able to try the new milkshake flavor, Cookies & Cream. It was good (creamy, with chocolate cookie flavor) but I prefer froyo…
There was also a sign for the Ultimate Creation event. On November 12, 2019, come to Yogurtland for a special offer: $5 for any cup or cone.

Yogurtland Abominable Promotion Launches on September 2, 2019
Fro-yo girl here. It’s been a few years since Yogurtland’s last movie tie-in promotion featuring character spoons. The last one was DreamWorks Trolls in 2016. I’m happy to see a new movie tie-in. The new Yogurtland promotion for the animated movie, DreamWorks Abominable, launches on September 2. It features:
* Blueberry Avalanche Tart froyo: This seems to be Everest’s favorite flavor. It’s nonfat, gluten free, and made with real blueberry. It tastes like the regular Yogurtland Blueberry tart, a flavor that I really like. It’s thick, creamy, and full of tangy blueberry flavor. I'm told that they added more blueberry flavor, so it is a new flavor. Recommended toppings: mochi, blueberries, raspberries and Magic Snow Rings.
* Magic Snow Rings topping: These are white and blue sour raspberry gummy rings. They’re firm and chewy. Delicious!
* Two new collectible spoons: blue yeti named Everest and purple Yi (girl).
* Abominable limited edition collectible cup. The yeti is featured. I don’t know the names of any of the characters. There’s a mountain on the cup too. I’m guessing that it’s Mount Everest.
Yogurtland employees have cute blue Abominable t-shirts. Take your picture with Everest and share your froyo with him. Catch Abominable in theaters starting September 27.

Toppings Changes at Menchie’s
Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s is currently phasing out several toppings to make room for new toppings. This list isn’t complete.
Toppings to Be Phased Out: Whoppers, peach gummy rings, Nutter Butter, Andes Mints, yogurt chips, Jet Puff marshmallows, Sour Patch Kids, Nestle Crunch
New Toppings: Cupcake bites, rainbow marshmallows, papa gummy bears, milk chocolate mini marshmallows, gummy sharks, sour gummy poppers
What do you think? Do you like any of the old or new toppings? I personally preferred the old toppings, especially Whoppers, Nutter Butter, and Andes Mint. What toppings would you like to see Menchie’s add? I wouldn’t mind seeing another kind of granola, hemp seeds, chia seeds, chocolate crisps (the round balls that Pinkberry carries), honeycomb, pretzels, and other types of cookies.
Thanks, Zelda Z., for the toppings update!

Pressed Juicery’s New Toppings and Sundaes
I noticed the toppings display changed recently. They used to have a list of toppings on display on the glass divider near the Freeze station. Now you can see the toppings in clear glass bottles. Each one also lists whether the topping is vegan, gluten-free, kosher, and non-GMO.
As for the Freeze Sundaes, they are:
- Summer Delight: Strawberry Freeze with vegan peach gummy bears + blueberries
- Chocolate Churro: Chocolate Freeze with granola butter + cacao drizzle
- S'mores: Chocolate Freeze with vegan marshmallows, chocolate chips + granola butter
- Blueberry Muffin: Vanilla Freeze with honey, blueberries + granola butter
- Tropical Dream: Pineapple mango Freeze with raspberry puree, sprinkles + shredded coconut
- Strawberry Pie: Strawberry Freeze with vegan marshmallows, praline pecans + granola butter
- Chocolate Chip Cookie: Vanilla Freeze with chocolate chip cookie crumble, chocolate drizzle + chocolate chips
- AB&J: Vanilla Freeze with almond butter, raspberry puree + strawberries
I selected the AB&J which was refreshing and delicious. The raspberry puree was obviously natural and not overly sweetened. The price hasn’t changed and they're running a promo right now, two items for $10.

Yogurtland’s New Froyo Flavor is Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Pie
Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland has partnered with Knott’s Berry Farm for a new froyo flavor, inspired by Knott’s Famous Boysenberry Pie and it arrives in stores on Monday, March 18. Guests can top their Boysenberry Pie frozen yogurt with mini boysenberry shortbread cookies. Also, Yogurtland stores will have coupons to save up to $30 on admission to Knott’s Boysenberry Festival, March 29 – April 28.
Back in the early 1900s, Charles Rudolph Boysen created a hybrid fruit by crossing a blackberry and a raspberry. Then Walter Knott of Knott’s Berry Farm started growing boysenberries commercially and making boysenberry preserves. Knott’s Berry Farm is considered the birthplace of the boysenberry. Yogurtland got its start not that far from Knott’s, so the new boysenberry pie froyo is very much a product of the OC.
* Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Pie frozen yogurt (lowfat, made with real boysenberry): The yogurt was thick, smooth, and creamy. It wasn’t tangy, even though boysenberries are supposed to be tangy. The flavor was milder than I expected, more like a cross between a grape and a strawberry than a cross between two tart berries. The mini boysenberry shortbread cookies paired well with the yogurt, reminiscent of buttery pie crust. The center was chewy, while the shortbread was thick and crispy. Recommended toppings: Blackberries, lots of whipped cream, boysenberry shortbread cookies.
Here’s the official press release:
Yogurtland Swirls Up New Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry Pie Frozen Yogurt
Enjoy the Delicious Taste of the New Flavor, inspired by Knott’s Famous Boysenberry Pie and Pick up a Discount Coupon for the Park at Participating Yogurtland Locations
Each spoonful of Yogurtland’s Boysenberry Pie frozen yogurt flavor is bursting with the jammy richness and sweet and tart taste of fresh boysenberries followed by hints of a butter sweet pie crust. Inspired by the world-class award-winning pies, it’s creamy and delicious, and no doubt Mrs. Knott herself would approve. For an added boysenberry touch, Yogurtland will be serving mini boysenberry shortbread cookies as a topping option.
“We are thrilled to be working in collaboration with Knott’s Berry Farm to celebrate, in frozen yogurt form, one of Knott’s famous food attractions - the boysenberry pie,” said Jennifer Ehrencron, Yogurtland’s senior marketing manager. “Our new Knott’s Boysenberry Pie froyo flavor gives fans of both brands something special to savor over and over again.”
Knott’s Berry Farm started as a farm and evolved into a small fruit stand which has since grown into a world-famous destination known for thrilling rides, famous fried chicken dinners and delicious boysenberry pies. From the beginning, food and dining has been at the heart of the Knott’s Berry Farm experience. The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is an annual event that celebrates the park’s historic roots by highlighting the little berry that started it all, the boysenberry.
The new Yogurtland - Knott’s Boysenberry Pie frozen yogurt will arrive in Yogurtland stores on March 18, days before the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival begins on March 29. When fans enjoy their Boysenberry Pie frozen yogurt at Yogurtland, they can also pick up a coupon good for up to $30 off one admission to Knott’s Berry Farm.
