Menchie’s March Flavors & a New Collectible Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s just introduced the first new spoon of the year, a pink Sprinkle spoon. Sprinkle is holding a cup of Menchie’s froyo with extra sprinkles. You can even see Menchie’s head on the cup. The spoon says swirl.smile.repeat. The back of the spoon features the back of Sprinkle. These are nice big spoons. Get them before they run out.

Menchie’s featured flavors for March are Vegan Mint Chocolate Chip made with Almond Milk and the new HI-CHEW Grapefruit froyo.

HI-CHEW Grapefruit is a new froyo flavor inspired by HI-CHEW Grapefruit candy. It did taste like grapefruit but sweet like candy. Something about it tasted medicinal though. The texture was very icy, like a sorbet. The nonfat flavor is made with no artificial colors and no high fructose corn syrup. You can find HI-CHEW Grapefruit in the HI-CHEW Sweet & Sour Mix.

Vegan Mint Chocolate Chip made with Almond Milk is back for March. It’s made with no artificial flavors, artificial colors, and no high fructose corn syrup. It was creamy and thick. The mint flavor wasn’t strong.

These flavors will be available in March, while supplies last.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yoga-urt’s New Flavor, Raspberry Romance

Fro-yo girl here. Yoga-urt introduced a flavor inspired by Valentine’s Day on Valentine’s Day. Raspberry Romance froyo tastes just like fresh raspberries but the texture and flavor are better than sorbet and gelato because it’s thick and creamy. The soft serve is also very tangy and seems less sweet than usual. So good. And the color of the soft serve is so pretty. It’s swirling at all Yoga-urt locations and available via Uber Eats as well.

The soft serve has live and active cultures, and it’s organic.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

February at Menchie’s: A New Flavor, A Returning Flavor & NFYD

Fro-yo girl here. This month, Menchie’s is featuring a new flavor, Classic Blueberry Muffin froyo, and a returning favorite, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Kisses froyo, made with Hershey’s milk chocolate.

Classic Blueberry Muffin froyo: According to Menchie’s, “muffin compares to our new flavor, Classic Blueberry Muffin! This froyo is made with no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and no high fructose corn syrup.” It’s made with cake mix but the blueberry flavor is stronger than the cake flavor. The color is a striking blue. My sample was icy and also seemed overly sweet. I could taste a hint of the cake. Recommended toppings: graham crackers, blueberries, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

In case you needed a reminder, February 6 is National Frozen Yogurt Day. Menchie’s will offer a buy one, get one free on froyo on February 6 and double points when you scan your Menchie’s app in-store from February 7 – 13.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Menchie’s Featured Flavors in January

Fro-yo girl here. It’s January, and that means that Menchie’s has new featured flavors. First up, the NEW Iced Hazelnut Latte froyo is made with instant coffee. It’s nonfat, gluten-free, kosher and made with no high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors ,or artificial flavors. The coffee flavor was strong, but the hazelnut flavor was not. It was also on the icier side. Recommended toppings: chocolate chips, almonds

Cinnamon Roll froyo is made with real cinnamon. The froyo is nonfat, kosher, and made with no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and no high fructose corn syrup. It’s a returning flavor. This flavor was creamy and rich. I could taste the icing and the cinnamon. I did find it too sweet though. If you get it, I recommend getting vanilla or cake batter with it to cut down on the sweetness. Recommended toppings: Cool Whip, Golden Grahams, and Nilla wafers.

I was excited to see the signs for NATIONAL FROZEN YOGURT DAY. It’s happening on February 6. Menchie’s will offer a buy one, get one free offer. You can also earn double points when you scan the Menchie’s app in-store from February 7 – 13.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New Salt & Straw Vegan Flavor, Blood Orange Froyo Creamsicle

Fro-yo girl here. Salt & Straw is kicking off 2026 with The Vegandulgence Series, five limited edition vegan flavors. And yes, I’m writing about it because there is a new froyo flavor, Blood Orange Froyo Creamsicle. Salt & Straw describes the flavor as ‘’Tart and silky blood orange olive oil sorbet swirled together with creamy Cocojune coconut frozen yogurt.”

Blood Orange Froyo Creamsicle: The texture was firm and icy, with some icier bits, and the flavor was tangysweet. It wasn’t smooth and silky. The flavor was pleasing, but it tasted like and had the texture of orange coconut sorbet. The olive oil made it slightly savory. I definitely wanted a punchier orange flavor. I expected it to be creamier and more froyo-like. There have been better Salt & Straw froyo flavors.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New at Menchie’s, Dubai Chocolate Froyo

Fro-yo girl here. It took awhile for me to find the new Menchie’s flavor, Dubai Chocolate froyo. It’s described by Menchie’s as “rich, creamy milk chocolate with the nuttiness of pistachio.” The flavor is lowfat, gluten-free, and made with no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, and no artificial colors.

Dubai Chocolate froyo:
It looks brownish like milk chocolate froyo. I could definitely taste the pistachio too. The flavor was creamy and smooth. It didn’t work for me though. I think the appeal of Dubai Chocolate depends in part in the different textures. Also, it’s nice that the chocolate and the pistachio are separate.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

November at Menchie’s

Fro-yo girl here. It’s November at Menchie’s, which means it's time for a new featured flavor, NEW Chocolate Covered Raspberry froyo made with Hershey’s Chocolate. CCR is described as “a subtle tangy raspberry covered in a rich semi-sweet Hershey's chocolate.” It's made with no artificial flavors, no artificial flavors, and no high fructose corn syrup.

Chocolate Covered Raspberry froyo: It’s a smooth and mild milk chocolate froyo, thanks to the Hershey’s chocolate. The raspberry flavor is present but not too strong. It’s a nice mellow combination. The chocolate and raspberry flavors are harmonious. Recommended toppings: Special Dark chips, Oreo cookie crumbs, and fresh raspberries.

I heard that Menchie’s will offer Dubai Chocolate froyo soon, so keep checking.

Menchie’s is also honoring members of the military, past and present, on Veterans Day, November 11, with 6 oz of free froyo.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland’s New Flavor, Peppermint Mocha Frozen Yogurt & Holiday Promo

Fro-yo girl here. It’s November, so winter froyo flavors are on the way. Yogurtland launched the new flavor, Peppermint Mocha frozen yogurt, on November 3. Peppermint Mocha froyo is described as, “a festive swirl of cool peppermint and rich mocha [that] creates a refreshing, creamy frozen yogurt.” The flavor is nonfat, gluten-free, and made with real cocoa and coffee.

Peppermint Mocha froyo: I was a bit hesitant to try the flavor (I wasn’t in the mood for a strong mint flavor), but I really liked it. The mocha (coffee) flavor was more dominant than the peppermint. Also, the coffee flavor was mellow and smooth, not bitter or harsh. The texture was creamy and smooth. Recommended toppings: whipped cream, gingerbread men, and chocolate chips.

I spotted a holiday topping, mini gingerbread men cookies. The cookies are thick and crunchy with a bit of gingerbread spice.

The new holiday cups feature a green background with holiday images: gingerbread men, candy canes, peppermint candies, and sprinkles. And the new complimentary holiday sticker sheets have a similar look (the same color, a few of the same images that are on the cup). The sticker sheet comes with ten stickers, including a red Yogurtland spoon, a cup of froyo, a gift, an ornament, holiday cookies, a candy cane, and a round peppermint candy.

There are red holiday candy cane spoons, too.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Promo at Yogurtland Includes New Flavor

Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future with a new nostalgic fall flavor. Great Scott! Caramel Apple Pie froyo launched today. It’s made with real apples, shortbread, and cinnamon. I don’t like apple pie, so I was skeptical. Fortunately, the flavor was mellow and enjoyable. I tasted the buttery caramel but it wasn’t too strong. The apple flavor is mild too. It’s mellow enough to go with many flavors. The texture was smooth, rich, ad creamy. Recommended toppings: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, whipped cream, almonds.

The flavor is available for a limited time, through November 30, or while supplies last. The location that I went to did not have Doc’s Churro Bites, the BTTF promotional topping. I did learn that they’re going to start giving out BTTF Yogurtland sticker sheets tomorrow.

October 21 is Back to the Future Day because it’s the date that Doc Brown and Marty McFly arrive in the future in Back to the Future Part II. Show up in a BTTF Doc Brown or Marty McFly costume on 10/21 and enjoy 30% off your purchase.

Save the date for Fan Appreciation Day, October 27. Yogurtland wlll offer double points to Real Rewards members and a BOGO free deal.

Yogurtland introduced Caramel Apple froyo back in 2016 as part of the Trolls promo. Caramel Apple Pie is a different and better flavor.

Menchie’s October Promotions

Fro-yo girl here. It finally feels like Halloween! Menchie’s has two spooky featured froyo flavors this month. Harvest Pumpkin froyo is back for another month, and that month happens to National Pumpkin Month. And Fruity Cereal froyo is brand new.

Harvest Pumpkin froyo: Menchie’s Harvest Pumpkin froyo is made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, and ginger. Recommended toppings: Butterfinger, chocolate shell, Special Dark chocolate chips

Fruity Cereal froyo: This is a pretty pale pink froyo that tastes like Fruity Pebbles milk. It’s on the mild side, so it would go well with other flavors like vanilla. The froyo is nonfat and gluten-free. It’s made with no artificial colors or artificial flavors. Recommended toppings: fresh fruit, granola, nuts

Menchie’s is also promoting the new Gabby’s Dollhouse The Movie with Cakey’s Cake Batter froyo and a special cup design. Gabby’s Dollhouse The Movie is showing only in theaters.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New White Mocha Froyo at Pinkberry

Fro-yo girl here. Time for Pinkberry’s fall flavor…it’s White Mocha froyo. Pinkberry recommends topping it with mocha sauce, chocolate wafer cookies, and whipped cream.

I tried a sample, and it was sweet with a smooth coffee flavor. The coffee flavor wasn’t bitter. The flavor was light and on the icier side. It was too sweet for me, but I’m sure that it would be yummy with whipped cream, dark chocolate crisps, and the Belgian butter waffle cookie. I’ve gotten used to those yummy tart Pinkberry flavors!

FYI, a white mocha is usually made with espresso, steamed milk, and white chocolate sauce.

White Mocha froyo is available for a limited time (until October 30) at participating locations, while supplies last.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Pinkberry Introduces Spring Froyo Flavor, Blueberry Lavender

Fro-yo girl here. Spring’s new Pinkberry froyo flavor is Blueberry Lavender. The official recommended combination is Blueberry Lavender froyo with fresh blueberries and lemon wafer cookies. There is also a new blueberry lavender smoothie.

Blueberry Lavender froyo:
The froyo was smooth and light with a refreshing tang. I couldn’t taste the lavender though. It’s been a long time since I’ve had Pinkberry’s blueberry flavor. I’ve always liked that flavor. Blueberry Lavender seemed tarter than the blueberry that I remember and it does taste like real yogurt. Recommended toppings: fresh blueberries, mochi, Belgian butter waffle cookie, dark chocolate crisps.
I didn’t see the lemon wafer cookies during my visit, so I can't recommend them.

Blueberry Lavender is available for a limited time at participating stores nationwide. It will be around till May 29.

Yogurtland had a blueberry lavender light ice cream back in 2019.

Pinkberry recently turned twenty quietly. I wonder if they have anything planned?

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland’s New Seasonal Exclusive Flavor, Salted Caramel Cheesecake & NFYD Details

Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland’s first new flavor of 2025 is…Salted Caramel Cheesecake frozen yogurt. The new flavor is made with real cream cheese and real caramel. Yogurtland describes Salted Caramel Cheesecake as a “luscious dessert [that] features rich and creamy cheesecake perfectly paired with velvety salted caramel.” I like Yogurtland’s cheesecake froyo and don’t care for salted caramel in general. That said, I actually liked the flavor – it tastes more like salted caramel to me, but the cheesecake makes it a bit richer and more complex. It tastes richer like butterscotch. Recommended toppings: cheesecake, chopped almonds.

Yogurtland also brought back the Chocolate Strawberry Swirl by placing Dutch Chocolate froyo and Fresh Strawberry froyo in the same machine.

And I saw the signs for National Frozen Yogurt Day. On February 6, enjoy BOGO free on froyo cups and 2x points for Real Rewards members.

For Valentine’s Day, they have a special gift card holder that’s complimentary when you buy a gift card, while supplies last.

New Pinkberry Froyo Flavor, Yuzu Meringue

Fro-yo girl here. Pinkberry’s first new frozen yogurt flavor of 2025 is…Yuzu Meringue. Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit that looks like a round lemon. Pinkberry’s new flavor is described as “citrusy, vibrant, and smooth.” They recommend topping Yuzu Meringue froyo with fresh raspberries and the new crumbled pie crust topping.

Yuzu Meringue froyo: IMHO, it tasted like a sweet orange and a sweet lemon. The flavor wasn’t as tart as some of their other tart flavors, but it still had a tang. I can see why they call it a smooth flavor – it’s not as tart as the typical lemon. The meringue also softens the flavor. I liked it, but it’s not one of my favorite Pinkberry flavors. Recommended toppings: pie crust, Belgian butter waffle cookie, fresh fruit, and mochi.

Yuzu Meringue is available at participating stores nationwide until March 13, 2025.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yoga-urt’s New Flavor, Nana’s Lemon Meringue Pie

Fro-yo girl here. Last year, Melissa, the founder of Yoga-urt, created a new flavor, Papa’s Boysenberry Pie, to honor her father. This year, she created a flavor in honor of her mom’s favorite dessert (other than Yoga-urt): Nana’s Lemon Meringue Pie. Nana’s Lemon Meringue Pie is made with real lemons, marshmallow crème, and the Yoga-urt house almond/cashew base. I think I tasted graham crackers too or maybe shortbread cookies?

The new flavor launched on November 20, her mom’s birthday. So sweet.

I love lemons and I am now obsessed with the new lemon flavor. It’s the tartest and tangiest Yoga-urt flavor. Cookies and marshmallow crème make it taste like more than lemons, but the froyo isn’t that sweet because it’s so tangy. Like other Yoga-urt flavors, it is organic, soy-free, gluten-free, vegan, etc.

Yoga-urt has locations in Glendale, Echo Park, Santa Monica, and Granada Hills.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

November at Menchie’s

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s is looking festive these days with new holiday cups. The red cups feature Menchie, Chip, Sprinkle, and Mookie by a sign that says Happy Holidays and a holiday to-do list.

There are two new froyo flavors this month, HI-CHEW Key Lime Pie and Caramel Apple Pie.

HI-CHEW Key Lime Pie froyo joins a long list of HI-CHEW flavors at Menchie’s. I love key lime pie and HI-CHEW. The texture of this frozen yogurt is like a sorbet. It doesn’t taste or eat like a froyo. That aside, the key lime flavor lacks tang and is more candy like. It’s decent. This flavor is nonfat, gluten-free, and made with no artificial flavors, no artificial flavors, and no high fructose corn syrup.

Caramel Apple Pie froyo was inspired by Thanksgiving. It’s made with real graham crackers and apples. I could taste the caramel, cinnamon, and the apples. I found it unpleasant and strange for some reason. But it was creamy.

The new Chip Falling for Froyo spoons were delayed but finally arrived. The brown spoons feature Chip and it says Falling for Froyo on the handle. These look like fall spoons.

Menchie’s will be honoring vets and active duty military on Veterans Day with 6 oz free. Also, app members can enjoy double smiles on November 12 & 13. And the holiday bonus card offer is back. Spend $25 in gift cards and get a $5 bonus card for free.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New Pinkberry Flavor, Snickerdoodle Cookie

Fro-yo girl here. It’s always nice to start the new month with a new froyo flavor. Pinkberry just released its new festive flavor, Snickerdoodle Cookie frozen yogurt. The non-tart froyo flavor tastes like cinnamon and sugar.

Snickerdoodle Cookie frozen yogurt: It’s no secret that I prefer tart froyo, but I liked this flavor. The texture was very smooth, creamy, and light, but it still felt satisfying without being heavy or too rich. The cinnamon flavor wasn’t too strong, and it wasn’t crazy sweet. The shortbread crumbs were a perfect crunchy topping though I do wish the crumbs were larger. Recommended toppings: nuts, shortbread cookie crumbs, dark chocolate crisps

Pinkberry recommends topping Snickerdoodle Cookie frozen yogurt with cinnamon dusted shortbread crumbs and chocolate chips.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Menchie’s September Promotions: New Flavors, Double Points, New Cups for The Wild Robot

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s is featuring two new froyo flavors in September.

Golden Cereal froyo made with Cap’N Crunch cereal is bright yellow, like the color of Cap’N Crunch cereal. It was also very icy. I think it’s the fault of the location, Menchie’s Mission Hills. Menchie’s froyo is usually not that icy. I tried a few flavors there and they were all icy. Maybe it’s because it was over 100 degrees, but I told the employees and they said the yogurt looked fine to them. It tasted like sweet caramel syrup. Golden Cereal froyo is lowfat and made with no artificial flavors and no high fructose corn syrup. Recommended toppings: nuts, Cool Whip, strawberries.

Yumm Bubble Gum froyo did smell and look like your classic pink super sugary bubble gum. I can’t imagine eating gum let alone a cup of gum-flavored froyo. I overheard a young child call it “gross” and I have to agree. Who thought of creating this flavor? Yumm Bubble Gum froyo is nonfat, gluten-free, and made with no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and no high fructose corn syrup. Recommended toppings: I can’t think of any because this flavor is awful.

The featured flavors are available while supplies last, for a limited time only.

I also got the new The Wild Robot cups that promote an upcoming movie called The Wild Robot. The movie will be in theaters on September 27, 2024.

Menchie’s also had a back-to-school special with double points for app members who scanned the app on September 3 & 4.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

New Pinkberry Flavor, Green Apple Froyo

Fro-yo girl here. Pinkberry just introduced its fall froyo flavor, Green Apple froyo. They call it a new flavor, but I had the chance to try Green Apple froyo at Pinkberry back in 2016. It was a test flavor at the time. I liked it back then and I wrote, “The Green Apple Pinkberry froyo flavor is good, lighter and smoother than ice cream, the flavor is tart and tangy (quite tangy) with lots of bright apple flavor and a sweet finish that seems to have a hint of pear. The yogurt flavor is in there but not prominent.”

I’m not sure if the flavor that I had was the same as the one I had in 2016, since that was a long time ago. However, I would describe what I had today in the same way. It’s a smooth, light, tangy, bright froyo flavor, but it doesn’t have much yogurt flavor.

Pinkberry recommends pairing Green Apple froyo with honey granola, caramel, and cinnamon. I think it would be great with mochi, strawberries, and toasted almonds.

Green Apple froyo is available at participating locations while supplies last or until October 31.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yoga-urt New Flavor, Papa’s Boysenberry Pie

Fro-yo girl here. I just enjoyed a swirl of Yoga-urt’s new flavor, Papa’s Boysenberry Pie. This special flavor is the first new flavor Yoga-urt has introduced since since 2021’s Café De Olla (unless you count the naturally sweetened/no sugar added versions of a few existing flavors).

Papa’s Boysenberry Pie isn’t just any new flavor. It was created in honor of Melissa’s father (Melissa is the founder of Yoga-urt) who passed away in March. His favorite dessert was boysenberry pie. Papa’s Boysenberry Pie combines his favorite dessert with his favorite froyo. Stu was more than Melissa’s dad. He also helped out at Yoga-urt, acting as the unofficial CFO and a tireless mentor.

Papa’s Boysenberry Pie (vegan, plant-based, organic, soy-free, gluten-free, froyo): Boysenberries are a hybrid of several berries, including loganberry, dewberry, raspberry, and blackberry. I’m not sure what dewberries or loganberries taste like, so boysenberries taste like mostly like blackberry to me. Papa’s Boysenberry Pie froyo tasted sweeter than some of the other Yoga-urt flavors. It definitely tastes like berry but not exactly like blackberry or raspberry. I thought I tasted some type of crust too, but I’m not sure. The yogurt was luscious, fresh, thick, rich, and smooth. Recommended toppings: cake pieces, nuts, fresh berries

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
