Fro-yo girl here. A few months ago, I found Sweetkiwi Whipped Greek Froyo at Ralph’s and reviewed the Cookies & Cream flavor. I was surprised that the froyo was whipped because the texture was so dense. Someone at Sweetkiwi reached out to me and sent me a fresh batch of froyo in exchange for an honest review. They told me that they fixed their production issues and created a new formula that makes it faster to thaw and helps it maintain the whipped texture.

Sweetkiwi recently appeared on Shark Tank and received a $250,000 investment from Robert Herjavec in exchange for a 7.1% stake, plus 5% in advisory shares. The deal values the company at over $2.4 million. The founder’s story was impressive. Ehime Eigbe started the leading chain of froyo shops in Nigeria and when she moved to the US, started Sweetkiwi, a better for you packaged frozen yogurt. Sweetkiwi says the product is “the yogurt lovers’ frozen yogurt with the crave-able combination of tart & sweet you expect from premium Greek yogurt. Sweetkiwi is uniquely formulated with carefully selected nutrient-dense ingredients that support gut health, nutrient absorption, and wellness.” The froyo is made with locally sourced milk from grassfed cows.

I tried the four flavors of Sweetkiwi and here's what I thought of each.

  • Cookies & Cream: This is the flavor that I tried last year. It looked different from last year and it tasted much better too. The color wasn’t as yellow and the texture wasn’t as dense and chewy. It tasted fresher. The yogurt flavor is surprisingly strong and surprisingly tangy. I could see some chocolate cookie crumble but the flavor of the tangy yogurt was stronger than the flavor of the cookies. The texture was smooth and creamy. It was sweeter than I expected. Verdict: pretty good but I think the tanginess of yogurt goes better with fruit flavors. One serving, 2/3 cup, of Cookies & Cream froyo is 120 calories, 1g total fat, 6g fiber, 16g total sugars, and 9g protein.
  • Vanilla had a nice vanilla and cream flavor and was also slightly tangy. It smelled lovely and there were visible vanilla bean specks. I think it would be really good in a smoothie or paired with fresh fruit or even more decadent desserts like cake and pie.
  • Chocolate Hazelnut: I was surprised by how much of the hazelnut flavor came through but the chocolate flavor was harder to detect. The tang was pleasant. The texture was thick and creamy.
  • Raspberry Frose: my favorite because I love the combination of berries and yogurt, both are tangy but not sour. It’s fruity and creamy, with a strong yogurt flavor.

I can see why Sweetkiwi is the yogurt lover’s froyo. The flavor of the yogurt really comes through, which isn’t the case for other Greek froyo products found at supermarkets (e.g., Yasso, Enlightened’s Greek froyo products, etc.). I recommend thawing the frozen yogurt for 15 – 20 minutes before consumption. The product was very firm right out of the freezer.

Sweetkiwi whipped Greek froyo is rich in probiotics, fiber, and immune-boosting superfoods and it's low in calories.

You can find Sweetkiwi at select locations of Whole Foods, Kroger, Walmart, and more. To find Sweetkiwi near you, use their product locator: Or you can order Sweetkiwi from their website.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
