* OREO Cookies & Crème ice cream: Yogurtland’s ice cream is a hit and they’ve introduced this new flavor that’s made with real Oreo cookie pieces. It’s described as follows: “Real Oreo cookies loaded into a creamy vanilla Ice Cream will transport you to the delicious experience of biting into a crunchy Oreo cookie with the classic creamy icing center.” It’s about twice the calories as the Classic Cookies & Cream froyo but it tastes the similar, but a little thicker and richer. You can see tiny bits of OREO cookies in it, but you can't see the cookies in the yogurt version. The yogurt version doesn't use OREO cookies. Recommended toppings: Oreos, chocolate chips, whipped cream.
* Dairy-free Pina Colada is made with real coconut milk and live and active cultures, so I consider it frozen yogurt. It’s described as, “Transport yourself to an island vacation in each spoonful of smooth, fruity and tropical goodness! This refreshing dairy-free flavor with healthy cultures added will make you feel extra indulgent, without the added guilt!” Pina Colada wasn’t icy but it wasn’t as creamy as dairy based froyo either. I thought the pineapple and coconut flavors were pretty balanced and true to their natural flavors. Recommended toppings: coconut, cherries, pineapples (of course).
These flavors are available at a limited time at participating Yogurtland locations.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
