Fro-yo girl here. I really don't know when National Frozen Yogurt Day is or how many there are per year. I'm celebrating National Frozen Yogurt Day on February 6th and June 4th. Though there are several websites dedicated to food holidays, I can't tell which ones are the most accurate and trustworthy. According to these types of sites, there is a National Frozen Yogurt Week and a National Frozen Yogurt Month as well.
Why can't every day be frozen yogurt day? Be sure to eat some fro-yo today. And if you're in SoCal, check out the Tuttimelon grand opening (free fro-yo from 12-2 PM) at Ontario Mills. Congrats Tuttimelon!

Can you give me any updates on Nubi Portrero Center location?
I don't have any updates but from the look of the location the last time I saw it (2 or 3 weeks ago?) they haven't started working on it. I'll try to swing by again soon.

Do you know if The Mix is offering any discounts for its opening on the 11th? I didn't see any hints on the FB page, but you always seem to know froyo secrets :)
(From what I can read on the FB picture, it looks like their prices are going to be high!)
I'm looking at the Mix's FB page now. Wow, it's not self-serve. It looks nice. Ooh, they must be planning to serve Blue Bottle Coffee. I haven't been in contact w/ the owners, so I have no special knowledge but I'll see if I can get a hold of them this week.
