Lillie is Back in Beverly Hills

Fro-yo girl here. This is the opening that I’ve been waiting for…Lillie, which had a pop-up early this year inside Layla Bagels in Beverly Hills, finally opened a brick and mortar shop on November 5. I’ve been a fan since my first visit because of the taste and quality.

I didn’t notice any opening specials. There were three soft serve machines, so they must be planning to offer 6 froyo flavors at a time. Today, they had two flavors available, though chocolate was listed on the sign.

Froyo flavors:
* Simple tart, $8/cup: This is the best tart froyo in town. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The texture is smooth and creamy. The flavor is clean, tangier than average, and less sweet. It tastes like real yogurt, the good stuff, not the watery, overly processed version of yogurt.
* Raspberry, $9/cup

The froyo comes in one size. Toppings are $1.75 each for regular and $2.25 for premium. Or you can opt for one of the chef's creations.

And if the superiority of the yogurt isn't enough to sway you, the small but mighty selection of toppings is housemade, except for the fruit. The passionfruit honey is not that sweet. It tastes more like passionfruit than honey. Every topping that I’ve tried is amazing. I can’t wait to try
more.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
