Time Is Running Out to Take the National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey, Five Respondents Will Win $25 Froyo Gift Cards




Fro-yo girl here. If you visit froyo shops and you’re over 13 in the US, you're invited to take the National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey. The short survey, sponsored by the International Frozen Yogurt Association, asks about your current froyo consumption and preferences. The survey takes about 7 minutes to complete.


Take the Online Froyo Survey and Be Entered to Win Froyo Prizes


All eligible survey respondents will be entered into a random drawing to win one of five $25 froyo shop gift cards to any US shop that offers online gift cards. Winners will be selected in a random drawing and can choose their froyo gift card. One entry per person.

Winners will be contacted and announced on the IFYA Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/froyoassociation/), Instagram, and Twitter by October 9, 2024. If any prizes are unclaimed by October 16, 2024, alternate winners will be selected until all prizes are awarded. Contest rules are posted on our website.

Purpose of the National Frozen Yogurt Survey


The annual National Frozen Yogurt Survey, sponsored by the International Frozen Yogurt Association, captures trends in the frozen yogurt market from the perspective of the consumer, including preferences, brand loyalty, and consumption. The survey results will be shared with frozen yogurt shops and others in the frozen yogurt industry so that they can make better informed decisions.

Take the National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey For a Chance to Win Froyo Prizes




Fro-yo girl here. Frozen yogurt eaters, the International Frozen Yogurt Association, IFYA, wants to hear from you. Take the short online frozen yogurt survey for a chance to win froyo gift cards. Five winners will be randomly selected from the survey respondents. Each will receive a $25 gift card. Winners can choose gift cards to any froyo shop in the US that offers online gift cards. The survey is open to anyone over 13 living in the US. One response per person, please.

Final Days of the National Frozen Yogurt Shop Owner Survey

 


Fro-yo girl here. Time is running out to be part of the National Frozen Yogurt Shop Owner Survey, sponsored by the International Frozen Yogurt Association. The survey is open to anyone who owns a business that serves frozen yogurt in the United States. Owners can sign up to receive the survey results while taking the survey. This year’s results will be compared to last year’s results and there are also new questions to capture the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Survey Purpose


The survey results will help froyo shop owners better understand how their shop compares to other shops and also to understand frozen yogurt industry trends. The survey includes questions about shop performance, satisfaction with suppliers, operational practices, management, etc. This year's survey was modified to take into account the impact of the coronavirus. The anonymous survey takes about 7 minutes to complete.

The survey closes at midnight PST on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

How to See the Results


Any shop owner who takes the National Frozen Yogurt Shop Owner survey will receive the results when they are available.

Suppliers and others who are interested in the results but do not own a frozen yogurt store can receive the survey results by sharing IFYA’s pinned Facebook (@froyoassociation) post about the survey, reposting the Instagram post about the survey (@intlfroyoassn) or retweeting the pinned survey tweet (@froyogirl).

Only foodservice business owners who participate in the current National Frozen Yogurt Shop Owner Survey, those who share the survey URL, and IFYA advisory board members will have free access to the full results of the shop owner survey. IFYA members will have free access to a limited set of results.

The survey results should be available in mid-November.

Calling All US Froyo Shop Owners, the National Froyo Shop Owner Survey is Now Open


Fro-yo girl here. The Third National Frozen Yogurt Shop Owner Survey, sponsored by the International Frozen Yogurt Association, is now open. 

Who Should Take the Survey


Anyone who owns a frozen yogurt shop or a business that serves frozen yogurt in the US is encouraged to participate. Owners who take the survey will be able to sign up to receive the survey results while taking the survey. The results will help froyo shop owners better understand how their shop compares to other shops. This year’s results will also be compared to last year’s results.

The National Frozen Yogurt Survey for consumers and shop owners is now in its third year. Coupled with the results of the IFYA's National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey, the shop owner survey results will be used to better understand the overall frozen yogurt market in the United States.

The survey will remain open from now till October 23, 2019.

Original State of Frozen Yogurt Research from the International Frozen Yogurt Association

Fro-yo girl here. The International Frozen Yogurt Association just completed its state of frozen yogurt industry survey project. There were two sets of surveys, with data gathered from online surveys this fall.

The research project was inspired by the desire to learn more about the frozen yogurt industry by asking consumers and shop owners. Some of the goals of the research were to:


  • Give shop owners a chance to learn how they compared to other frozen yogurt shops and to hear what consumers were looking for
  • Provide suppliers information about frozen yogurt shops and how the shops felt about their suppliers
  • Allow members and others a chance to provide suggestions on how the IFYA could better serve its members

National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey

The IFYA sponsored the first National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey during the fall of 2017 and received 174 responses from across the US.

The survey included questions about loyalty, current consumption, future consumption, frozen yogurt attitudes, and preferences and demographics. Consumers were asked how much they liked the major frozen yogurt chains, what shop attributes were important, what might increase their frozen yogurt shop visits, how often they consume frozen yogurt, taste preferences, etc. In the analysis, the IFYA looked at differences based on gender, age, region (geographic location) and frequency of froyo shop visits.

National Frozen Yogurt Shop Owner Survey

In September 2017, the IFYA invited frozen yogurt shop owners in the United States to take an anonymous online survey. The survey included questions such as how many hours a week do you spend managing the shop, what items does your shop sell (besides frozen yogurt), how well is your shop doing in terms of sales compared to this time last year, how satisfied are you with your decision to open your business, etc.

The IFYA received 59 responses from frozen yogurt shop owners. During the analysis, the IFYA looked at differences based on age of the shop, how much time the owner spends managing the shop, whether the owner had experience managing a foodservice business, and several other variables.
