Winter Yogurtland Promotion Continues with Two New Festive Flavors: Cinnamon Banana Bread & Eggnog
Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland introduced two new festive flavors as part of the Walking in a Winter Yogurtland winter promotion. Eggnog is a returning favorite and features real nutmeg with a hint of vanilla.
Recommended toppings: White chocolate chips, Speculoos cookies
Cinnamon Banana Bread froyo is a new flavor made with real banana bread, freshly roasted pecans, bananas and a dash of cinnamon. It does taste exactly like banana bread, with that warm baked flavor.
Recommended toppings: Pumpkin bread, cheesecake, almonds, graham crackers
Both flavors are available while supplies last.
Next up: Sticky toffee pudding returns on Dec. 8, inspired by the traditional English treat.
Remember the Yogurtland gift card promotions. From Nov. 10 – Dec. 23, you’ll get a $5 gift card for every $20 in gift cards that you buy. From November 10 – November 30, customers who purchase $7 of froyo will receive a 5-ounce free card.

New Winter Yogurtland Flavor: Caramel Macadamia Froyo
Fro-yo girl here. Yogurtland’s winter promotion, Walking in a Winter Yogurtland, introduced a new flavor today: Caramel Macadamia. It's described as "A decadent, delicious holiday treat. Real macadamia nuts are dark roasted for a deep flavor, adding both a hint of salt and a back note of caramel."
From the description it sounds like macadamia nuts are the prominent flavor. I found that the caramel flavor was more noticeable and the back note tasted nutty. The texture was rich, smooth and creamy. It seemed pretty sweet to me but I'm not a caramel fan unless the caramel is muted by other flavors.
Recommended toppings: Speculoos cookies, almonds, white chocolate chips, toffee bits, Cap'N Crunch
Next up: Cinnamon banana bread & Eggnog on December 1.
Remember the Yogurtland gift card promotions. From Nov. 10 – Dec. 23, you’ll get a $5 gift card for every $20 in gift cards that you buy. From November 10 – November 30, customers who purchase $7 of froyo will receive a 5-ounce free card.
Also, look for the new Yogurtland froyo cup ornaments ($2.99 each), available while supplies last.

I also spotted two new toppings: super crunchy Speculoos cookies and pumpkin bread. The pumpkin bread was dense and moist. Definitely get Speculoos cookies with your Cookie Butter froyo. I also recommend toffee bits. There are new cup designs too, but my Yogurtland didn't have them yet.
The holiday flavor schedule:
* November 10: Cookie butter & Cranberry raspberry tart
* November 17: White chocolate peppermint
* November 24: Caramel macadamia
* December 1: Cinnamon banana bread & Eggnog
* December 8: Sticky toffee pudding
* December 15: Fudge brownie
There are two gift card promotions. From Nov. 10 – Dec. 23, you’ll get a $5 gift card for every $20 in gift cards that you buy. There are two new loadable gift card designs: one with a strawberry and one with a teddy bear. The $5 gift card features a new design with wrapped gifts.

New Winter Flavors from Yogurtland: Round Six
* White chocolate peppermint: “Real gourmet white chocolate and refreshing peppermint. This flavor is a winter wonderland right in your mouth.” The flavor was milder (not as minty) as I expected but I liked it because you could taste the white chocolate better. The mild minty flavor hits you first and then the warm, sweet white chocolate. It was extra creamy, thick and rich.
* Raspberry pomegranate tart: “Celebrate the season with all the healthy goodness of real raspberries. Our fresh fruit and real pomegranate juice is delightfully tart, yet balanced with natural sweetness.” I thought I liked their raspberry tart a lot but raspberry pomegranate is even better: more flavorful and tangier. So good!
I wanted a cup of both flavors but the white chocolate peppermint froyo was calling for the new topping, peppermint bark. It came in big pieces! Yum.

New Winter Flavors from Yogurtland: Round Five & Froyo Cookie Sandwiches
* Vanilla custard: “A fresh holiday take on an old holiday classic. The rich, creamy, vanilla egg custard flavor you love without the guilt.” It’s creamy, smooth and tastes like vanilla soft serve ice cream only with a hint of yogurt flavor. It’s not as creamy as real frozen custard but still very good - and with live and active cultures.
* Cinnamon roll: “The taste of holiday morning. We combined one of the world’s best cinnamons with real cream cheese for the best baked treat ever to be served frozen.” I think many people will really love this flavor. The cream cheese makes it extra rich and creamy and you can see and taste the cinnamon.
The cheesecake chips were new. They look like white chocolate chips and taste like cream cheese icing.
I made my frookies/frozen yogurt cookie sandwiches with the giant Oreo cookie disks. If you want to do the same, here are a few pointers:
- Swirl the froyo directly onto the cookie, till the froyo is about ½ an inch to 1 inch high
- Put other cookie disk on top of froyo
- To add toppings to the side, put toppings in your cup and roll your froyo cookie sandwich into the toppings mixture. You may need to press toppings into the side of the froyo.
- Freeze till the froyo is firmer, otherwise you won’t be able to bite into it without having froyo come out on the sides
Next week more new seasonal froyo flavors arrive: White chocolate peppermint and Raspberry pomegranate tart. You’ll also see a new topping, one that I love, peppermint bark.

New Winter Flavors from Yogurtland: Round Four
* Chocolate mousse pie: “Our gift to all the chocolate lovers out there. Gourmet cocoa, chocolate cookie and a dash of coffee extract combine for a velvety, smooth, seasonal chocolate sensation.” Those of you who follow my blog know that I don’t like chocolate froyo. So many of them taste like cocoa/fudge to me with few differences that I can discern. Sadly, this chocolate mousse pie tasted like a fudgsicle to me. I didn’t notice the chocolate cookie or coffee extract. The texture was creamy and smooth.
* Egg nog: I remember Egg nog froyo from last year’s holiday promotion at Yogurtland, Yuletide Yumminess. “Simple, delicious and full of holiday cheer. Real nutmeg and a hint of vanilla combine for a flavor we can all toast to.” I don’t like egg nog but I found this flavor pleasant. The egg nog flavor wasn’t too strong and I did taste the vanilla. It seemed sweeter than usual. It’s creamy and rich.
I spotted some new seasonal toppings: Chocolate nonpareils and Oreo cookie disks. The Oreo cookie disks are twice the size of a typical Oreo cookie. They are adorable! It’s too bad that I saw them after I already put froyo in my cup. Next time I’m going to make froyo cookie sandwiches...with next week’s new flavor, vanilla custard.
Remember you can earn double points Monday - Wednesday with the Real Rewards program.
Next week more new seasonal froyo flavors: Vanilla Custard and Cinnamon Roll.

New Winter Flavors from Yogurtland: Round Three
* Cranberry orange tart: “Real New England cranberries and fresh Florida orange juice combine for a festive flavor that will leave you smiling, refreshed and ready for shopping.” This is my favorite Walking in a Winter Yogurtland flavor so far. The cranberry flavor hits you first and then the juicy orange flavor. There’s a lot of orange flavor but the real “yogurt” flavor is still noticeable too. It’s refreshing and bright.
* Butterscotch: “It’s back! Real caramel and real scotched butter combine for a flavor so real you’ll think it should be in a candy dish.” This flavor did taste like butterscotch candies, the ones that come wrapped in yellow. It’s very creamy. It wasn’t super sweet (which is a plus).
Next week more new seasonal froyo flavors will arrive: Chocolate mousse pie and egg nog.

New Winter Flavors from Yogurtland: Round Two
Chocolate mocha: “We deliciously combined real Sumatra coffee with a special blend of cocoas for a full-bodied flavor guaranteed to fuel all those holiday shopping trips.” Chocolate mocha is a no added sugar flavor. I hoped for a darker, richer chocolate flavor but it was a lighter fudgier flavor with little coffee flavor. I generally don’t like chocolate froyo though...but coffee and chocolate can be a delicious combination...if the coffee flavor is strong enough but in this case it wasn’t.
I previously gave Sticky toffee pudding froyo the following review:
Sticky toffee pudding: “Moist, sweet sponge cake, made with chopped dates and covered with rich butter toffee.” I was dreading the taste of dates. The flavor is better than I expected because it doesn’t have intense date or butter toffee flavor. It’s creamy and mostly tastes like a nice muted butter toffee.
I spotted two new toppings: Heath bar pieces and chocolate covered espresso beans.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Walking in a Winter Yogurtland Promotion Begins
The holiday flavor schedule:
- November 11: Spiced apple cider sorbet & Salted caramel pecan
- November 18: Chocolate mocha & Sticky toffee pudding
- November 25: Cranberry orange tart & Butterscotch
- December 2: Chocolate mousse pie & Egg nog
- December 9: Vanilla custard & Cinnamon roll
- December 16: White chocolate peppermint & Raspberry pomegranate tat
As a tart froyo lover, I’m most looking forward to the cranberry orange tart. Vanilla custard also sounds delicious. The spiced apple cider definitely tasted of holiday spices. I’m not a cider fan...found myself wanting more tart apple flavor. It was sweet, not tart.
There won’t be holiday cups or spoons but I’m told some new toppings are on the way, including chocolate covered espresso beans and chocolate nonpareils.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
