Fro-yo girl here. General Mills launched YoBark late last year to offer a healthy snack that appealed to moms and tweens (ages 12 – 13). You can find YoBark in the refrigerated section at Albertson’s, Walmart, Vons, etc. A 5 oz package is about $4.99. There are two flavors available, Strawberry and Honey Vanilla.
I found Honey Vanilla YoBark for $0.99 at Grocery Outlet in Highland Park (Los Angeles).
Honey Vanilla YoBark: The thin bark came in different shapes and sizes, but all the pieces were small (i.e., about 1 – 2 inches). The bark was surprisingly tangy and creamy, but the granola bits were still crunchy. It wasn’t bad, but I think it would taste better if it were chocolate bark. The yogurt is too sweet.
YoBark is made with dried nonfat Greek yogurt, granola, milk powder, palm kernel oil, sugar, etc. The bag is resealable and contains five servings. A one ounce serving is 150 calories, 9g total fat, 12g total carbs, 5g protein, and 8g total sugars.
I don’t think I’d get it again, because it’s too sweet. However, it does taste better than Enlightened’s Frozen Yogurt Bark.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
