Givat Yogolite Yogurt Review

Fro-yo girl here. I stocked up on kosher Cholov Yisroel yogurt on a recent trip to Livonia Glatt Market. Givat Yogolite is a line of Swiss style, nonfat blended yogurt with live and active cultures, from Givat Dairy of Elizabeth, NJ. Each cup is 5 oz. Livonia was selling Yogolite for $1.39.

Cholov Yisroel means that the entire production process was under strict and diligent rabbi supervision. It is a higher standard of kosher dairy.

* Espresso coffee yogurt: Since it’s European/Swiss style yogurt, I don’t think it was strained. It was thin and smooth. The flavor was incredibly sweet though it had some tang and a mild coffee flavor. It was so sweet that I couldn’t eat it until I blended it with some plain yogurt to cut the sweetness. The yogurt had 26g of sugars and 130 calories.

Ingredients: Cultured pasteurized grade A nonfat milk, sugar, coffee, modified food starch, natural & artificial flavor, citric acid, lemon juice concentrate, potassium sorbate, caramel color, live and active cultures

Other flavors from Yogolite include Vanilla, Strawberry, Plain, Peach, Berry Blend, Field Berry, Strawberry Banana.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

2.5 out of 5 stars.
