For those of you not familiar with Caplico, it’s a Japanese baked wheat snack by Glico that looks like an ice cream cone. It’s supposed to taste like an ice cream cone too. A airy chocolate center is surrounded by an airy yogurt flavor exterior. The texture is very much reminiscent of Aero chocolate bars. It’s firm but not super firm because there are tiny holes throughout. The yogurt part tastes a bit like Yakult, sweet and creamy and it has tiny bits of lemon cookie for a bit of crunch. The chocolate part tastes better. The cone is crunchy and light. One cone is 210 calories with 13g of fat.
I love yogurt but I think other flavors of Giant Caplico taste better.
