21 Choices Pasadena (Temporarily) Closed, Building Undergoing Earthquake Retrofit

Fro-yo girl here. Bad news, Pasadena froyo eaters – 21 Choices is closed indefinitely while their building undergoes earthquake retrofitting. The closure affects the other tenants that share the building as well: Father Nature Lavash Wraps and Sunglass Hut.

A sign in the window of 21 Choices says “we are told that we will have to close for about 4 months.” They list their other locations in Claremont. They’ll be back and the building will be safer than ever. It will be a long four months though. Miss you already, 21 Choices.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

* 21 CHOICES: 85 W Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91105

Any news on reopening? If four months is still correct, they should be back by the end of October? Let's hope for it. ;)

Good question. I have seen work on their building. The signs about reopening haven't changed and the 21 Choices website still says they will reopen in Pasadena (but no date is specified). I just looked at the building less than a week ago.

Dear Fro-Yo Girl. Are there any news about 21 Choices in Pasadena? Their website still states that they will reopen "next month". Problem is that I've seen this statement since early in November, so "next month" would have been December actually. I'm beginning to doubt that they are actually plan on reopening this location in the near future. When I walked by in November, it didn't look like they actually started with interior design. Will be back there in February and hope they're back in business till then. Happy new year to all you Fro-Yo lovers in the world :)

I just drove by this morning. The 21 Choices signs and things are still inside the building. They did update their website in November, so I do think they will reopen. Fingers crossed. Happy new year to you!

Also wanted to add that none of the businesses that share the building with 21 Choices have reopened yet. Father Lavash is expected to reopen on Feb. 18 - perhaps 21 Choices will reopen around that time frame as well.
