Seoju Mango Lassi Jelly Review

Fro-yo girl here. During a recent visit to Mega Mart, a Korean grocery store in Fremont, CA, I spotted a new yogurt flavored candy. It didn’t say yogurt on the front (in English), but it did say India style and the picture looked like an unblended mango lassi.

Seoju Mango Lassi Jelly comes in a 40g resealable pouch. It was reasonably priced at $1.79. There were other flavors, but those were not yogurt flavored. The candy is imported from South Korea. The ingredients include mango juice and natural lassi (yogurt) flavor.

Mango Lassi Jelly: The jellies smell really good (like mango). The small cube is firm yet not too hard. It’s chewy like a gummy bear. The orange half is mango flavored, and the white half is yogurt flavored. It doesn’t have a strong yogurt flavor, but it is very pleasant, sweet, and chewy. I’m grateful that it doesn’t taste like Yakult. I would buy these again.

One 40g bag of mango jellies is 145 kcals, 0g total fat, 36g total carbs, and 11g total sugar.

Asian Grocer Online describes it as follows, “Seoju Mango Lassi Jelly combines the creamy richness of mango lassi with a fun, chewy jelly texture. Bursting with the sweet and tangy flavour of ripe mangoes, this delightful treat offers a unique, refreshing twist on a classic drink. Perfect for a fun snack or a sweet indulgence, it’s a delicious way to enjoy the flavours of mango lassi anytime!” You can buy the candy online from Asian Grocer Online.
