Walls Mango & Yogurt Mini Ice Cones Review

Fro-yo girl here. 99 Ranch Market in Arcadia and Alhambra just started carrying Walls Mini Ice (Cream) Cones imported from China. A box of 10 individually wrapped cones is $10.99. One box is 200g. I only saw one yogurt flavor, but I later realized that only half the cones in the box are yogurt-flavored. The other five cones are mango-flavored.

The cones look like Walls' (a Unilever brand) iconic Cornetto ice cream cone, but these are mini-sized versions. The mini ice cream cone is about 4 inches long. A box of 10 cones (5 of each flavor) is 200g. One cone is 54 calories, 2.5g fat, and 0.5g protein.

Yogurt flavored with mango gelee cone: The mango gelee is way too sweet but there isn’t too much of it. The frozen yogurt is creamy, airy, and smooth. It was less sweet than the typical ice cream but bland and not tangy. Thankfully, it doesn’t taste like Yakult. The sugar cone was soft and filled with chocolate. Because the cone is so small, it wasn’t too bad. I wouldn’t want to eat a full-sized version though.

Mango flavored ice cream with mango gelee cone: The mango ice cream was sweet and the mango gelee made it even sweeter. It tasted like mango candy, so it was pleasant but very sweet. The sugar cone was also soft and filled with chocolate.

I spotted other flavors: vanilla and chocolate, rose and white peach, blueberry and strawberry. Each box comes with two ice cream flavors.

3 out of 5 stars.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
