Noosa Delights Review

Fro-yo girl here. Noosa Yoghurt just launched a new line of snacks featuring creamy Noosa whole milk yoghurt and a sweet bottom layer. The flavors are: Key Lime Pie, Strawberry Cheesecake, Coconut Cream Pie, Brownie Batter. The flavors sound indulgent.

I spotted Noosa Delights at Pavilions in South Pasadena, CA. They were priced at 2 for $4. Each cup is 4.5 oz, smaller than the typical yogurt. It’s also more expensive than the regular Noosa Yoghurt 4.5 oz cup.

Pavilions in South Pasadena had three of the flavors. Coconut Cream Pie was missing.

Key Lime Pie yoghurt: The texture was different – it’s a blended yogurt and was more like a pot set style than the typical Noosa yoghurt. The key lime pie yoghurt was delicious – very tangy and creamy with lots of key lime flavor. I didn’t understand or appreciate the bottom layer, which is a brown gelatin that’s graham cracker flavored. It didn’t look appealing but it tasted fine. Crunchy graham cracker crust pieces would be so much better than graham cracker gelatin. I also wasn’t certain if I should mix the contents or not. I did mix it because I didn’t want to see the brown gelatin. One serving is 190 calories, 8g total fat, 24g total carbs, 21g total sugars, and 5g protein.

Strawberry Cheesecake yoghurt: This was sweeter than the Key Lime Pie but was also blended and had a pot set texture with a layer of graham cracker gelatin on the bottom. I could see bits of strawberry and there was a hint of cream cheese and cinnamon. One serving is 160 calories, 6g total fat, 22g total carbs, 20g total sugars, and 5g protein. I preferred the Key Lime Pie flavor. The strawberry cheesecake tasted too sweet (even though it has less sugar).

Noosa Delights yoghurt is tasty, because Noosa is so good, but the graham cracker bottom is strange. I’d rather have regular Noosa, unblended.

4 out of 5 stars.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
