Fro-yo girl here. Ventura is getting another fro-yo shop...Surf'N Yogurt. Their logo looks identical to Yogurt Hut, so I'm guessing these two businesses have the same owners, the Repults (not sure why the shop names are different). Yogurt Hut's decor is surfing inspired and the fro-yo is self-serve.
Surf'N Yogurt takes the place of Dairy Queen. It looks like DQ just closed since most of the DQ signs were still inside the shop.

Yogurt Hut had to change their name to Surf 'n Yogurt due to copywright issues. Both shops are from the same owner. :)
Oh, that explains why the logo is the same but the name is different. Thank you for the info!
