Fro-yo Gift Ideas: Fro-yo Photos & More

Fro-yo girl here. Looking for gift ideas for your fro-yo loving friend or loved one? Take one good picture of fro-yo and you can do so much with it. You can put the fro-yo picture on a t-shirt, tote bag, pillowcase, mug, notepads, cards, pillows, or ornaments using Zazzle, CafePress, etc. Or choose a variety of fro-yo pictures and create a photo collage or multiple canvas prints. CanvasPop can print your Instagram pictures on canvas for $30 - $60 each.

Pressed for time or don’t feel like personalizing something? FantasticFam has fro-yo t-shirts for $20.

Fro-yo gift cards are always appreciated, especially in my stocking.
Menchie’s is also a good bet for fro-yo gifts, including apparel, cooler bags, plush dolls, and more.

Free Yogurtland T-shirt in the South Bay

Fro-yo girl here. I spotted a poster today at Yogurtland. It says "Free t-shirt with every $10 purchase." The promotion is currently going on at three South Bay locations: Westgate (San Jose), Almaden (San Jose) and Campbell. Of course you have to hurry, it's a limited time offer, while supplies last. The t-shirt is white with the Yogurtland symbol. I already have mine from a similar promotion that they had in Berkeley about a year ago (or longer).

Tip: it's impossible to spend $10 at Yogurtland by yourself. Bring 3 friends/family members. Four cups should do it.

While you are there, try their new chocolate mint cookies fro-yo. It's really good! I never see the limited edition 5th anniversary purple spoons...they probably ran out of those a long time ago.

Nubi SF Potrero Center Grand Opening Coverage

Fro-yo girl here. I met up with some fro-yo friends today and made it to Nubi a few minutes before it opened. There was a short line and a sign in the window about the grand opening. We shuffled in at 11 AM and swirled our fro-yo. It's 50% off all day. The celebration was low key. They didn't have balloons (like they did for their other grand opening events).

I heard they planned on having music and prizes but it was unclear when that would start. I did get a coupon for 50% off my next up at that location, expiration date 5/31/2010, and the free Nubi t-shirt (the same one that they gave away at the San Leandro grand opening). The fro-yo was very thick and firm and the mochi balls were nice and chewy. The shirts arrived late (around 11:30 AM) and they seemed to have quite a few judging by the number and size of the boxes.

You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
