Menchie’s Hello Sunshine Spring Party, Saturday, March 21 & March Promotions - POSTPONED

Fro-yo girl here. With all the gloomy news lately, we could all use a froyo party. Menchie’s is having a Hello Sunshine Spring Party event on Saturday, March 21, from 12 PM – 2 PM. Everyone’s invited to celebrate spring at Menchie’s.

Party details:

• Froyo will be BOGO free during the Spring Party.
• New spoons! Look for a special new yellow froyo spoon featuring Sprinkle to be handed out during the Spring Party.
• Froyo contest: Track down the new Hello Sunshine selfie frame and use it to show off your spring smiles. When you post your picture to Instagram tagging @mymenchies and using the hashtage #MenchiesHelloSunshine, you’ll be entered to win a $25 Menchie’s gift card. Your account must be public. The contest is for US residents only. Three winners will be selected.

While you’re there, be sure to try March’s featured flavors, Carrot Cake OREO and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.

Also, there’s a new froyo cake design for March inspired by March Madness. The Slam Dunk cake is perfect for your basketball viewing parties, not that there are any games to be viewed.

Menchie’s Zombie 2 Celebration

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s and Disney Channel joined forces to celebrate the premiere of Zombies 2. Menchie’s provided 5 oz of free froyo for the first 50 guests starting at 3 PM on February 14, 2020 (yes, Valentine’s Day). I brought my zombies and we admired the Zombies 2 signs. Too bad they didn’t have zombie spoons or zombie flavors.

Zombies 2 is the sequel to Zombies and it premiered on February 14. It’s a Disney Channel original movie. The movie follows “The continuing adventures of Seabrook High students Addison and Zed, whose budding romance is threatened by the arrival of werewolves.”

Menchie’s New Alvin & the Chipmunks: Road Chip Promotion, Holiday Flavors, Holiday Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s has partnered with 20th Century Fox for the new holiday movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. Alvin and friends have inspired new Menchie’s cups, spoons, promotions and holiday flavors.

New goodies arrived yesterday at Menchie’s locations. New flavors will launch throughout the holiday season. There’s a new topping too: Chocolate dipped cherries.

New flavors (launch date):

• Chocolate Mint Crème made with Andes Mints (Nov. 1): Tastes just like the Andes mint candy, so there’s a strong mint flavor. Recommended toppings: anything chocolate, Andes Mints, almonds
• Spiced Gingerbread Cookie (Nov. 1): Made with real ginger cookies. I could taste mild spices but not the cookies. It didn’t have a strong gingerbread taste. Recommended toppings: nuts, graham cracker crumbs, Cool Whip
• Southern Pecan Pie (Nov. 16)
• Holiday Eggnog (Dec. 1)
• Dark Chocolate Cherry Brownie (Dec. 1)
• Fresh Baked Oatmeal Raisin Cookie (Dec. 16)

The new limited time only cups feature Alvin and his friends, Simon and Theodore, wearing Santa hats. The new limited time only red spoons feature Alvin in a Santa hat.

There’s a holiday gift card promotion. For every $25 Menchie’s gift card purchased, receive a $5 bonus Alvin and the Chipmunks Menchie’s gift card.

Color Changing Cups Arrive at Menchie’s

Fro-yo girl here. It’s October and that means the new color changing froyo cups have arrived at Menchie’s! The color-changing cups are available for a limited time and are inspired by my favorite holiday, Halloween. It’s the first time that I’ve seen a color changing cup at a froyo shop.

The cup, which is made out of paper, has Halloween and Menchie’s designs (e.g., ghost, spider, bones, witch’s hat, jack o’lantern) printed on it. The designs look white. Put cold froyo in the cup to start the transformation. The printed images turn green, orange, blue, purple and pink. There’s one design and the cups are available for a limited time only.

What a clever way to encourage you to fill up your froyo cup.

Menchie’s also introduced a new pumpkin flavor for October, Harvest Pumpkin. Harvest Pumpkin features real pumpkin puree, cinnamon and ginger. The cinnamon flavor was very pronounced, more so than last year.

Last October Menchie’s introduced its first color changing spoons, featuring the Sweet Friends, as well as color changing magic crystals (sugar) and a pumpkin froyo flavor called It’s Pumpkin Time.

I’m so happy to see Halloween spirit at Menchie’s and will be visiting multiple times in October.
