Menchie’s Test Flavor, Chip’s Chocolate

Fro-yo girl here. While I was at Menchie’s University in Encino, CA, I noticed a new test flavor called Chip’s Chocolate. It’s made with real Ghirardelli chocolate and has not artificial colors, artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup. I did try some. Since I rarely get chocolate frozen yogurt (I usually don’t like chocolate frozen yogurt), it’s difficult for me to judge it. It didn’t seem bad and it didn’t taste just like fudgsicle like so many chocolate flavors, so I guess it was good? The sign was cute. I think every Sweet Friend should have a favorite flavor. I wonder what Menchie’s favorite flavor would be? And what about Sprinkle and Mookie?

New at Menchie’s: Chocolate Glazed Toffee Bar & Kiwi Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. When a new froyo spoon is announced at Menchie’s, I need to get my hands on several spoons ASAP. Menchie’s friend, Kiwi, now has his own limited edition spoon and it’s kiwi green of course. The spoon is so detailed; Kiwi is holding a Menchie’s spoon and a cup of froyo! I’m going to stocking up on Kiwi spoons of course.

Menchie’s also partnered with Hershey to create a new flavor, Chocolate Glazed Toffee Bar Made With Heath®. CGTB will be offered from July 1 - 31, along with mini Heath bars. The Hershey’s Experience Sweepstakes at Menchie’s gives My Smileage members the chance to win a family trip to Hershey Chocolate World and Menchie’s gift cards. 

I tried Chocolate Glazed Toffee Bar frozen yogurt. I don’t like chocolate frozen yogurt so I was glad that the toffee mellowed the chocolate flavor. There wasn’t enough toffee flavor for me and the texture was icy. The mini Heath bars are too big.

Set of Menchie’s Color Changing Spoons

Fro-yo girl here. Thank you Menchie’s HQ for completing my collection of magic color changing spoons!!!! Here are all 8 Sweet Friends spoons: Menchie, Chip, Mookie, Sprinkle, Mellow, Barry, Kiwi and P.B. 

Each design comes in five colors: Red, Orange, Green, Purple and Blue. Yes, that means 8x5 = 40 different spoons! Crazy!

Back of the Menchie’s Chip Spoon

Fro-yo girl here. Normally when I get a fancy new fro-yo spoon, I like to post pictures of the front and back of the spoon. I forgot to post a picture of the back of the limited edition Chip spoon from Menchie’s last week.The back of the spoon is cute too; you get to see Chip’s tail.

Introducing Menchie's Sweet Friends: Menchie's Collector's Card

Fro-yo girl here. I'm excited about Menchie's new collector's card program which is launching this week and highlights Menchie's sweet friends, 7 other fro-yo related characters. Each month, they'll release a new puffy character sticker. Collect them all and when your card is full, you'll get a secret bonus card.









The collector's puffy sticker is free with every yogurt purchase. The first sticker is Sprinkle. Sprinkle "always looks at the bright side of things which shows in her rainbow." The other friends (and future stickers) are Barry, Mellow, Kiwi, Chip, P.B., Mookie and of course, Menchie.

The program should launch this Friday.
