Yogurtland New Spring’s Simply Sweet Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares Froyo
Fro-yo girl here. The names of the new Yogurtland flavors are getting longer and longer. Today, Yogurtland locations are swirling the new flavor from the LOVE Follow Your Heart promotion, Spring’s Simply Sweet Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares. It’s a no sugar added flavor that’s gluten free and made with real peanut butter.
I do love peanut butter and marshmallow squares. In fact, I’ve added peanut butter to my homemade marshmallow squares in the past. But from the picture, it doesn’t seem like they’re talking about Rice Krispies treats. Too bad!
* Spring’s Simply Sweet Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares froyo is described by Yogurtland as “real peanut butter and fluffy marshmallow flavors unite for a nutty, creamy and sweet treat.” I did like the flavor because it tastes like their regular peanut butter with a hint of marshmallow. The marshmallow flavor isn’t too strong. Recommended toppings: Peanut butter sauce, peanuts, mini Nutter Butters, Reese’s Pieces
The next new flavor is Pairings & Sharings Strawberry Basil Lemonade Sorbet starting May 15.
Flavors are available while supplies last.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland Love Follow Your Heart, New Blue Ribbon Pineapple Upside Down Cake Froyo
The Blue Ribbon part of the flavor’s name probably is a nod to the Dole pineapple recipe contest in 1925. At the time, pineapple was considered an exotic, new fruit. Of the 60,000 recipes that were entered in the contest, 2,500 were for Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. This inspired the Dole ad campaign featuring the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake in 1926. This year, National Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Day is April 20.
* Blue Ribbon Pineapple Upside-Down Cake: It’s described as “We combine real pineapples, shortbread cookies and a rich toffee base for this sweet treat! Caramelized pineapple flavors combine with buttery cake notes for a well-balanced, fruity delight.” It tasted like pineapple but without any tanginess – because of the cake notes. The most prominent flavor was still the pineapple. The texture was smooth and creamy. The yogurt is lowfat. I wasn’t a fan; maybe the flavor was too complicated for me, but then I probably wouldn’t like pineapple upside down cake either. Recommended toppings: pineapple, coconut, almonds, Nilla wafers
The next new flavor is Spring’s Simply Sweet Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares starting May 1.
