Fro-yo girl here. Bubbies Ice Cream, known for its line of mochi ice cream, introduced mini ice cream cookie sandwiches recently. The sandwiches are available exclusively at Sprouts nationwide with a suggested retail price of $6.99 - $7.99. There are two flavors, Key Lime Pie, Strawberry Shortcake. Each box contains six individually wrapped mini sandwiches. One sandwich is 1.25 oz
Key lime pie: This was really good. The golden cookie was soft like s shortbread or sugar cookie and was mildly sweet. The ice cream was firm, creamy, smooth, and tangy. It had lots of key lime flavor. Both the cookie and ice cream were better than the typical ice cream sandwich, though not quite as good as Jeni’s key lime pie froyo sandwiches. Also, the first sandwich I tried didn’t have much ice cream (see the picture). It didn’t look like the sandwiches pictured on the box. But the second sandwich looked normal.
One Bubbies sandwich is 110 calories, 5g total fat, 16g total carbs, 8g total sugars, and 1g protein. It is kosher and non-GMO.
4.5 out of 5 stars.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
