Dream Pops Plant-Based Ice Cream Review
Fro-yo girl here. I remember seeing Dream Pops last year at Whole Foods. The packaging and the geometric looking pops looked so modern and interesting. Dream Pops are 100% plant based, soy free, and gluten free. They aren’t frozen yogurt though, so I didn’t feel like I had to try them. But, they sell single pops now, so I was ready to try. The single pops are $1.79 each at Whole Foods. Dream Pops are sold in bags of four ($4.49) or individually.
Dream Pops is a healthier, portion-controlled, guilt-free superfoods snack. One pop is 1.42 fl oz, with 4g sugar and 80 calories (with slight variations depending on the flavor). The list of ingredients was refreshingly short and natural.
* Vanilla Matcha pop: The pop is tiny – five bites worth. But they were tasty bites – creamy, clean aftertaste. I could definitely taste the matcha and the coconut, the vanilla – not so much. It reminded me of Pressed Juicery’s matcha Frozen plant-based dessert (also made with coconut milk). It wasn’t overly sweet. I wanted a bigger pop.
Ingredients: Coconut milk, organic coconut sugar, vanilla extract, ceremonial matcha.
Available flavors: Berry Dreams, Chocolate Lion, Vanilla Matcha, Coconut Latte, Mango Rosemary
Dream Pops are available nationwide. You can also sign up for a monthly subscription.
4 out of 5 stars. The flavor was excellent but the pops are so small (kid sized)
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
