Silk Oat Yeah Oatmilkgurt Review
Fro-yo girl here. I’ve seen Danone’s Silk Oat Yeah Oatmilkgurt since the beginning of summer and finally decided to try it. Target carries Oat Yeah Oatmilk and Oatmilkgurt. Oatmilkgurt is $1.73 for a 5.3 oz cup of yogurt, or more accurately, yogurt alternative. It’s nut-free, gluten-free and dairy-free, with live and active cultures.
THE VANILLA ONE: It didn’t pass the smell test. Vanilla Oatmilkgurt smelled like sour wet paper towels and glue. Unfortunately, it tasted like it smelled but sweeter, like tangy sweet glue. The consistency was thin and gummy. 1.5 out of 5 stars.
THE STRAWBERRY ONE: Fortunately, the Strawberry One smelled much better. It tasted like strawberry juice with a hint of oat. The consistency was like thickened juice. Not bad. I didn’t like how thin it was though. 3 out of 5 stars.
The Strawberry One was 80 calories per serving, 0g fat, 2g dietary fiber, 8g total sugars, 3g protein. Ingredients: Oatmilk (filtered water, whole oat flour), cane sugar, strawberries, faba bean protein, corn starch, strawberry puree, pectin, calcium citrate, fruit and vegetable juice (for color), citric acid, natural flavor, live and active culture, vitamin D2, vitamin B12.
Available flavors: Mango, Mixed Berry, Strawberry, Vanilla
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
